### 1/5 — Very misleading

*2011-10-24, version 2.7*

Yet another product and developer that falsely advertises the program's capabilities to get purchased and make a dollar. This program does not at all do what it says. You cannot view and operate the iPad screen from your computer. The only thing you can do is view this app screen from your computer; it has no functionality whatsoever and you cannot view any other screen. Would have rather spent this money on a footlong from Subway. Scam coupled with greed. Would give zero stars if it were an option.

### 1/5 — MISLEADING

*2011-07-08, version 2.5*

Do not expect to share a screen from a different app. I know the description makes it sound like you can, but you can only 'share' what you can open within this app.

Buyer beware. This description was INTENTIONALLY misleading. Wish i could have a refund. This thing won't even up a PowerPoint.

### 1/5 — NOT share your iPad screen with computer

*2011-01-10, version 2.4*

I bought this with hopes that I could some how see my iPad screen on my computer. Instead all I can see is whats inside this app, not my iPad. Very disappointing... Refund?

### 1/5 — No remote control

*2010-05-04, version 0*

This app description is very miss leading

I am shocked that apple let it thru

It implies that your iPad screen is displayed on your computer but it's not

I feel ripped off for buying this

### 1/5 — Waste of money for me

*2010-04-05, version 0*

I thought this was going to allow me to manage documents across my iPad. Instead it's just another isolation of documents into a single apps directory structure. The "replication" was a joke to me. It's the same as any other app in terms of opening a browser window, but I could not click on any button from my computer. It appears to be nothing more than an image with basic controls in a panel next to it. I much prefer using GoodReader and have already deleted this from my iPad.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can't control the app from computer.

*2016-06-11, version 4.1*

Only can view the screen....

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2014-07-03, version 3.8*

The app doesn't offer remote control of an iPad and only remotely displays there app on your PC desktop, what's the point!

So you can't see you iPad screen remotely on the home screen or any other app.

Pointless and a waste of money. And it only works in the same LAN.

### 1/5 — Rubbish, doesn't work

*2014-03-04, version 3.8*

Bought this to show my iPad on my PC screen, so that I could share over Skype. Doesn't work, despite following instructions. Don't buy it!

### 1/5 — Can't screencast. Seems somewhat fraudulent to claim so.

*2013-07-07, version 3.4*

I purchased this app to do one thing: create a screencast of what's happening on my iPad screen. This app doesn't appear to be capable of this. I'd like my money back, please. Also, suggest you remove the screencast feature claim in the product description.

### 1/5 — BS

*2013-01-30, version 3.4*

What a waste of time and money! You will NOT be able to remote control your iPad with this app

### 1/5 — Ripped off!

*2012-04-13*

I bought this app thinking that you could screen cast everything in the iPad onto a PC screen. This is NOT the case. I guess I did not read the first line that introduces the app close enough. It only shows those documents or files that it can display within the app itself.

### 1/5 — Dup app

*2012-02-25, version 3.2*

Same as Mobile Presenter Pro by same developer..

### 1/5 — screen sharing doesn't work at all

*2011-12-03, version 2.7*

I paid for 5.99 to this software in order to do screen sharing between my iPads. The feature is listed in their AD. But it doesn't work at all. Their customer service ask me to WAIT FOR NEXT RELEASE....

### 1/5 — Bad

*2011-11-06, version 2.7*

It doesn't work. You can't control the iPad from your PC.

### 1/5 — Wasted £4

*2011-11-03, version 2.7*

This app only seems to share the iPad screen when this app is in the foreground. It's not what was advertised and I will be asking for my money back on this.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Replicate Pro

*2011-03-19, version 2.5*

I was skeptical with the handling of documents in different formats on the iPad when I first purchased, but Replicate Pro makes it SO easy that I continue to use it because I'm spoiled from it's quick access. Sharing documents is a one-time set-up between your Mac (YESSIR)/PC and at first seems cumbersome to get working, but it's great once it's synced!! And anytime I need quick loading of the files, I use iTunes to add to Replicate Pro and it's instantaneously there. I love it!!!

### 4/5 — Useful for printing

*2011-04-13, version 0*

I use it for printing documents from iPad, has been pretty handy.

### 3/5 — Good but not great, description is misleading.

*2011-10-05*

The description is rather misleading.
You cannot remote control an iPad, nor can your "iPad" screen with a PC.

What you can do is view and control the iPad's web browser screen on a PC. That is not the same as Sharing your iPad screen, what your doing is sharing a web browser window. If I had realized this I would not have bought this App.

### 2/5 — Waste!!

*2012-06-16, version 3.2*

Very hard to use, doesn't work like it says it will!

### 2/5 — Didn't do the job I needed

*2011-12-31, version 3.0*

Although the print and fax functions look like they would work well, the screen casting functions were lackluster. First, it would be nice to be able to screencast things from outside the app. A closer reading of the app description said screencast the app, which I missed the first time. Second, when the computer and app are connected, the web browser has to be refreshed every time a change occurs in the app. So, when screen casting a ppt slide, I had to go back to the computer every time I wanted to advance the slide. Being tethered to my computer keyboard pretty much ruined any functionality I would have gotten from this app. If you want this for screen casting, avoid it like the plague. If you want it for document sharing or printing, it may work better for you than for me.

### 2/5 — Mixed feelings

*2011-04-12, version 2.5*

I bought this app for one reason: To share the iPad screen with another device hooked up to a projector.

Replicate Pro does share the screen, but only when it is opened. So to share the screen, both iPads need to run Replicate Pro in the foreground. All you get to see is the other device running Replicate Pro, as soon as you switch to another app does the screens sharing stop, totally defeating the purpose of this app.

I assumed RP would allow for screen mirroring, just like the iPad 2 with HDMI adapter, except wireless. However, all RP can mirror is itself, totally useless.

This app would only make sense, if the screen sharing would work with RP running in the background so that you can use the iPad normally (opening a PDF, doing some annotations, etc.) and have that streamed to another device.

### 2/5 — Baffled - doesn't seem to do what it says

*2010-06-08, version 0*

The web interface is just a picture of the ipad's screen. I cannot control the ipad in any way.
Definitely not what I was expecting from the description.
