Doesn’t work on the pc either. I do like the service though, just needs bugs fixed. ### 2/5 — What happened 😡 *2026-05-06, version 2.0.1* It won’t let me repost all of a sudden its saying check sharing status on sound cloud this is the first time having this issue please help 🙏! ### 2/5 — Turned into a cash grab *2026-02-13, version 2.0.1* It is super unfortunate you raised the base amount you have to contribute to a campaign(now 200) when it used to be 50. It costs $25 for 500. So basically you’re charging $10 per campaign. Due to the fact you have to do 200 now, it forces you into a situation with people that have “large followings” repost, and take more than half your points. So you spend $10 to get 3 reposts. Sure, you can work the system to earn points, but that’s painstakingly slow. Put the minimum back to 50. Y’all gonna ruin your app over trying to take so much from people, while giving so little back. ### 2/5 — TERRIBLE UPDATE *2025-10-03, version 2.0.1* The new update makes everything so expensive… i like how you actually have to listen to songs but theres not really much difference in having 700 followers and 20 followers now, no matter what ur pay 10-25 credits to them for a repost. The old repostexhange was way better ### 4/5 — Repost Exchange Review *2025-10-01, version 2.0.1* Yo what’s up dis sunny i been using repost exchange for over a year & a half now. & it’s gotten me crucial soundcloud plays. That the algorithm usually doesn’t reward you with. Before the new update, people will do things like not like your track, or not listening to it while STILL commenting, or fake comment like they like it 😭💔 but since then it’s changed & they rebalanced the credit system. ### 2/5 — Unnecessary change *2025-10-01, version 2.0.1* Ive been using this app for a long time and it has been helpful getting my music out there but after the recent change I don’t see myself using it as often they charge 10 credit’s minimum now and take of 5 credits as a “fee” this makes it take 2 times longer to gather enough credits to promote my music and instead of dropping the price for purchase they left it the same I would much rather now invest my money into a promoter instead of this app unless they drop the price I don’t see myself using this app as much as I have before ### 3/5 — Algorithm degradation *2025-09-07* You can send me real songs, not weird songs and/or songs that mix the wrong keys together. Not mix sets, playlists. It's getting complicated to share. The new version of the app is good, but the algorithm has become ridiculous. I'm nostalgic for your beginnings. I almost only receive the bottom end of songs from SoundCloud. Additionally, the algorithm now doesn't really take into account the styles of music we choose to receive. Please keep the app but come back as before for the music. ### 2/5 — What’s happened? *2024-12-06, version 2.0.1* Used to be really good, but recently I’m becoming more than frustrated since the last update. Change in layout looks both cheap and amateur in design and functionality. Struggling to stop a campaign and increase credits which prevents me promoting it effectively - now need to wait for campaign to run down to zero which stops many reposting my track when a campaign has few credits remaining. The charts have also increasingly become biased towards those who spend rather than quality of the tracks. It’s amazing since I stopped buying credit packs that none of my tracks make the charts anymore, when previously they consistently did. Please rectify the situation or provide guidance how to navigate the app better (as very little guidance online since update) ### 3/5 — Update is bad *2024-10-25, version 2.0.0* You guys really did a disservice with the aesthetics of the redesign, the old layout was 100 times easier to navigate and not so bright either ( i prefer darker backgrounds instead of everything being white ) I went from easily being able to find things to being so confused i feel like i cant navigate the interface anymore ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2024-08-24, version 1.0.59* Repost is a really good way to get ur music promoted within the sound cloud universe. Unfortunately sound cloud is one of the more money hungry companies and inorder to take full advantage of what repost has to offer, you have to monetize ur tracks through sound cloud, pay the pro membership fee and then there is the repost “artist plan” fee you must pay on top of that. By doing this they have 100% legal distribution rights over your music and they collect 20% royalty fee. So to sum it up. To take full advantage of what repost does, one must pay x2 subscription fees, plus bend the knee to a 20% royalty fee if one of ur songs manages to go viral. It is fun though and a great way to connect with artist and hear new music. Just make sure your ready to pay a bunch of money. ### 3/5 — Website gut, App ausbaufähig *2024-03-19* Ich habe in den letzten Monaten mehrere Tracks hochgeladen und durch den Algorithmus von SoundCloud auch ein paar Clicks & Follower bekommen. Als ich meine erste Kampagne gestartet habe, hat sich meine Followerzahl in 3 Tagen verdoppelt, ich habe unfassbar viel Feedback in den Kommentaren bekommen (wirklich unterstützendes und hilfreiches) und habe das Gefühl, endlich in der Szene angekommen zu sein. Die Website tut also genau das, was sie verspricht! Die App ist allerdings etwas ausbaufähig. Please add clickable 'like' buttons so that people can like my songs without reposting them. i want to 'like' other peoples' songs without reposting them. i can't. Everybody who uses the app would benefit. the like buttons don't work. i can ONLY like a track through re-ex through the repost form. The "heart" buttons don't work AT ALL. They re-direct to MY soundcloud profile, not the song i liked or the artist's profile. If i try to like a song through re-ex i get re-directed to my own soundcloud profile. I see no way to contact the developers through the app itself. That's weird, because at one point, Re-ex scheduled an interview with me about my user experience. I am a fan of this platform, but it is causing my songs to have more reposts than likes. That's not cool. It shows everybody that i'm trying too hard to promote the track. it isn't even fair, because people can't click like without reposting my track. you can only repost 12 tracks a day. I hear new music i like on Re-Ex. I'd have clicked "like" if i heard it on soundcloud. It uses an in app currency called credits and you can buy them with real money. to start a campaign to promote your song, you would pay 50 credits, or about 3-5$, and if you played it right, you could get 1000 views. Now it costs 200 credits or about 12$ to get one started and it is wildly inconsistent. The only platform that I can see has real authentic engagement with other artists to like and repost music to other fans/listeners on SoundCloud. This most recent update as of the end of Oct/beginning of Nov 2024 is not the most user friendly … I definitely like the old layout much better. Most of my repost requests that come in on the app are not able to be played unfortunately. The overall layout is just not as easy as the previous version of the app. Love it for pc, wish the app was the similar like for example the option to add songs to your personal SC playlists from the app like on pc.
