## What is Repoya?

Repoya is the road companion for backpackers and independent travelers. A viewpoint at the end of a trail, a quiet cove, a hot spring, a table worth coming back to: keep your spots to yourself or share them, and discover on the map the ones other travelers loved.

DISCOVER
• A map of places shared by the community, around you or wherever you're heading.
• Filter by country, city and type: nature, beach, viewpoint, culture, food, stays, campervan spots…
• Read reviews and 5-star ratings from people who've been there, translated on your iPhone.
• Country essentials: currency, emergency numbers, driving, plugs, entry requirements for your passport and health advice, with official links.
• Get directions in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze.

SHARE
• Places are private by default. Make one public in a tap, with a description and a type.
• Comment on and rate other travelers' spots.
• Plan your route on the travelers' forum, by destination and topic, in the app and on repoya.com; attach your photos, stripped of their GPS location.
• Free account with email or Sign in with Apple. Reporting, blocking and moderation; delete your account from the app.

KEEP YOUR PLACES
• Name your places, sort them into folders, mark favorites, attach up to 10 photos.
• Offline maps: your areas stay readable without signal, at the end of the world or deep in a valley.
• Offline countries: before you leave, keep a whole country on your iPhone (its guide, community places, maps of the cities you pick and transit maps).

ROAD EXTRAS
• Your car: save where you parked in one tap, then walk back with the compass, even offline.
• Transit alarm: Repoya wakes you up as you approach your stop.
• Currency converter: about thirty currencies at European Central Bank rates, usable offline.
• Metro, bus and train maps for 39 cities in 24 countries.
• Apple Watch, widget and Siri.

PRIVACY
No ads, no trackers. Your places stay on your iPhone: only what you choose to make public goes online.

Repoya is available in eleven languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Korean and Arabic.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-26

• Repoya now speaks eleven languages: Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Korean and Arabic join French, English, Spanish and German.
• A short introduction to the app on first launch, available again from Profile.
• Offline countries: before you leave, keep a country on your iPhone (its guide, community places, maps of the cities you pick and transit maps) and find them all without a connection.
• A traveler's guide in every country sheet: risks and places to avoid, road safety, car rental, local laws, tipping, mobile network, when to go, airlines; plug types drawn.
• Back to your car: vibrations at 100, 50 and 20 m on your iPhone and Apple Watch, even with the phone locked; a button turns the map toward your car.
• Transit wake-up: an arrival notification first; with no answer, the alarm rings before your stop. Set several wake-ups in a row, up to five.
• Bluetooth per vehicle: link each car's Bluetooth or CarPlay from its page; automatic detection saves the position for the right vehicle.
• Rental vehicle: when the rental ends, “Return the vehicle” removes it along with its Bluetooth and its positions.
