## What is Represent Vote?

Represent is where verified citizens vote on real questions — and the count is real.

Verify your identity once with your government ID. From then on, every ballot you cast is one person, one vote, recorded on a tamper-evident public ledger anyone can audit. No bots, no duplicates, no estimates.

VOTE ON WHAT GOVERNS YOU
Your feed shows open ballots for your city, your province, and the country — vote directly from the feed, and confirm every ballot before it's cast. A ballot can never be changed or cast twice.

AN HONEST COUNT
Results only show a split once 25 verified ballots are cast, so early votes stay uninfluenced. Until you vote, the running split is hidden by default — decide on the question, not the crowd.

RAISE YOUR OWN QUESTION
Put a neutral question to your street, your city, or the whole country. Yes/no, multiple choice, or ranked ballots.

ORGANIZATIONS
Unions, associations, student groups, and co-ops run verified votes for their members with the same one-person-one-ballot guarantee.

VOICES
Discuss every ballot under your verified name. Comment stances come from recorded ballots — not claims.

REPRESENT PREMIUM
Unlimited daily voting, higher proposal limits, and full access to Sentinel, our legislation monitor. Premium is a monthly auto-renewing subscription ($7.99 USD/month). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Voting, verification, and creating proposals are free — your ballot is never for sale.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 2.2.0 — 2026-07-25

This update makes choice ballots first-class citizens.

• Your ballot, remembered. Reopening a multiple-choice or ranked ballot now shows your receipt — which option you chose, recorded and counted — instead of offering the ballot again.

• Early voting, honestly. Choice ballots now follow the same rule as every other ballot: below 25 verified votes, you'll see the gold progress dots and your own receipt. The split publishes only once 25 ballots are cast, so early votes stay uninfluenced.

• Live progress in your feed. Choice ballots now show their real ballot count and tally threshold at a glance, just like yes/no ballots.

• Organizations: generating an invite code now shows the code immediately and copies it to your clipboard, and your expiry and single-use settings actually apply. New-ballot notifications take members straight into your group, and the admin Settings tab is easier to find.

• Assorted fixes and polish throughout.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-07-20

This update makes casting your ballot smoother and your identity even better protected.

• Ballot receipts, on your time. After your vote is sealed to the ledger, you can now dismiss the confirmation with a tap — review your receipt for as long or as little as you like.

• One person, one account — explained clearly. If a government ID has already been used to verify another account, a new screen now walks you through exactly what happened, how to sign back into your original account, and how to report it if it wasn't you. Nothing is ever recorded on the ledger from a blocked attempt.

• Visual polish. The welcome screen's glow now centres on the Represent mark, and region tags on ballot cards render cleanly on every device.

• Better demo experience. Exploring the app in demo mode now shows the complete voting flow, start to finish.

As always: verify once, vote on what governs you, and every ballot lands on the public record — counted exactly once.

### 2.0 — 2026-07-13

Represent 2.0 — a complete redesign.

• A new institutional design across every screen, in dark and light
• Vote directly from your feed — no more swiping through one card at a time
• Every ballot now gets a confirmation step and a sealed receipt
• Results are honest by design: splits appear only after 25 verified ballots, and stay hidden until you've voted so the crowd can't sway you
• New onboarding: tell us your region and see the ballots that govern you
• Browse open ballots in your area before you verify
• Share any proposal as a live tally card in Messages and social apps
• Redesigned proposal pages, results, organizations, and identity screens
• Represent Premium: unlimited daily voting and the Sentinel legislation monitor
