## What is Reps?

Reps is your AI recovery and training coach. It reads your HRV, sleep, and training load, then gives you one clear number every morning — your Readiness Score — so you know exactly when to push and when to rest.

WHY REPS
• Daily Readiness — HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, and recent strain combine into a single score with a plain-English reason.
• Adaptive plan — your training adjusts to how recovered you actually are, not a rigid calendar.
• Rex, your AI coach — ask anything about your training, recovery, or a specific workout and get a real answer based on your own data.
• Fast workout logging — log sets by voice, tap the NFC tag on a machine, or find any exercise in seconds.
• Muscle recovery map — see what you trained and what you've been neglecting.
• Body Battery energy — know how much you've got in the tank before you commit to a session.
• Share to Strava — post your Reps workouts straight to Strava.

BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO TRAIN HARD
Whether you lift, run, or do both, Reps helps you train hard on the right days and recover on the rest — so you make real progress instead of grinding yourself into the ground.

Your health data stays private, and your readiness and coaching run on your iPhone wherever it's supported.

### 5/5 — Love the app!

*2026-04-11*

As one of the original purchasers of the app, I’ve seen the growth and improvement of the app. This recent UI switch caught me off guard, but it’s a testament to the app developer’s commitment to the upkeep of a great product. I love the nutrition features (snap to analyze, descriptions to help the model understand what you ate, etc) and the summaries are top tier. I love the workout generation features and the way it takes into account you Apple Health information as well, too get the full picture of your health and wellness. I couldn’t ask for a better app!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your support and feedback! Love reading stuff like this. Means a ton for sticking around and please do send any feedback or feature requests you may have! I’m always looking to improve the app :)

### 5/5 — Looks good for workout

*2026-03-15*

I didn’t go through all features yet but it looks good to me. Will give it a try.

**Developer response:** Thank you and please do let me know if there’s anything you’d like to have improved or any other feature addition!

### 5/5 — Amazing health insights

*2026-03-02*

Reps works very well. The health insights are great, and I find the health report to be very helpful. The dev is very responsive to bug fixes and ideas, and does a wonderful job. My favorite thing about reps is it is a place that conglomerates all of the data my Apple Watch is creating and turns it into useable information for me.

**Developer response:** Thank you for this incredible feedback! Much appreciated and as always, feel free to reach out if you have any ideas or suggestions :)

### 1/5 — Bad workout generation

*2025-12-29*

Generated workouts do not take your available equipment into account despite what you list, and you can’t re-generate a workout once you create it.

**Developer response:** Another user had mentioned this as well. I’ve already looked into this and fixed it. Should be out in the next version. If possible can you email me with what equipment you had selected? You should be able to regenerate a workout as well but I’d be happy to look into the issue if you could help me with the exact steps you took!

### 5/5 — great health app

*2025-11-30*

my so got me using it, I never cared about my health before, seeing it all lol now i’m working hard

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback and welcome to the party 🥳!

### 5/5 — actually good workout app

*2025-10-30*

This is a fantastic workout app for a change. Love the features & the pricing

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! :)

### 1/5 — The app is hardly usable

*2025-10-20*

Half of the features don’t work and the entire app is very obviously vibe coded AI slop

**Developer response:** Hi, I’ve been actively solving every single bug or issue reported by users while adding features that have been requested as well. 1.1.4 had some performance issues which cascade to some features not working. This is hard to test with a newer device not to mention some features only work with newer phones (foundation models for example). I’m adding more fallbacks to catch these issues so everyone has a good experience. I’m a one man team and doing my best to fix all issues as there are a ton of moving pieces at play. Have you given version 1.1.5 a try? Would love to fix any issues you still have! Feel free to email me!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.6 — 2026-07-24

Share your wins. Hit a new personal best or a streak milestone and Reps builds you a trophy card worth posting, with your muscle map on it.

Your ECG, explained. Readings now come with a plain-English read on what they mean, and Rex can talk them through with you.

A cleaner Settings. Everything is grouped where you'd expect it.

Faster where it mattered. Personal-best history, glucose and progressive-overload screens open smoothly instead of stalling.

Fixes: weight screens no longer freeze when your units are set to kg, text stays readable at larger sizes, and coaching features connect more reliably.

### 1.3.5 — 2026-07-17

• Caffeine tracking you can trust — totals now match everywhere, logs never go missing, and a double-tap won't log twice
• Richer dashboard — a new 7-day stress trend and smoother, easier-to-read graphs on every card
• One less thing to type — Reps now reads your sex from Apple Health
• Gentle reminders before your free trial ends, and easy fixes if a payment ever hiccups
• Smaller, faster app — plus polish and reliability improvements throughout

### 1.3.4 — 2026-07-06

Share Your Workouts to Strava
You can now post your Reps workouts straight to Strava — connect once in Settings and share your training with your crew.

Also in this update:
• A cleaner Today screen that gets straight to your readiness.
• Log sets by voice or by tapping your gym machine — hands-free, mid-set.
• Find any exercise fast, even when you don't know its exact name.
• Kinder, clearer guidance when a metric is still warming up.
• Faster insights and a more polished look throughout.
• More reliable overnight refresh, so your morning numbers are ready when you are.

Thanks for training with Reps. Questions or ideas? Tap "Something wrong?" in the app — we read everything.

### 1.3.3 — 2026-06-08

Your AI coach, reimagined — and a big update to how you train, eat, and share.

Rex, your coach, is now one tap away from anywhere in the app, asks before it sets a goal or logs a meal, and lets you see and edit everything it remembers about you. Its replies are sharper and no longer cut off mid-thought.

Supersets that actually flow — pair exercises and Reps moves you through them set by set, back and forth, then rests only between rounds. Start a run or walk in a single tap, indoor or outdoor, with a live route map, heart rate, and splits. Start a workout on your phone and finish it on your Apple Watch. Active workouts now live in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen. And when you finish, share it as a collectible card — the same clean look as your meal cards.

Your meals are collectible cards too, with a brushed-silver edge and rarer tiers for standout plates — share them as a still or a gently moving video. Food logging is instant now: the card appears right away and fills in while you carry on, and search finally finds brand-name and packaged foods. Your coaching reflects only what you've actually eaten so far, not meals you've pre-logged for later.

New Cardio Recovery shows how fast your heart settles after a workout versus your baseline. Training Load gets a calmer, full-screen redesign. Sleep and energy screens are easier to read, and the whole app wears a deeper, more consistent look.

Plus a wide accessibility pass and lots of small fixes: workouts you didn't start no longer appear, a running session always shows on launch so you can end it, and your stated goal never shows up blank in the coach again.

Thanks for using Reps.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-04-21

The Insights tab is now your Health Report. Auto-generates on first open with a big grade, AI summary, a freshness chip so you know when it updated last, and an inline checklist of what to work on. A mini-card on Today keeps your grade one glance away.

Every metric gets Apple Health-style charts. Tap any number for day / week / month / 6-month / year views with a dashed average line, soft range band, and tap-to-select tooltips. Steps shows hourly bars for the day and daily bars for the week.

Rex Cloud coach stays on — fixed the cold-launch "cloud unavailable" bug where it'd quietly fall back to on-device. Now retries automatically on network blips. Long-press the Reps icon for a "Something wrong?" quick action.

10 new Home Screen widgets with tailor-made visualizations — HRV variability bars, Body Battery as a real battery, Sleep as the actual shape of your night. Caffeine widget decays correctly through the day.

Smarter meal reminders. Reliable overnight refresh. Fewer crashes, snappier app.
