The App provides three user interfaces depending on each user’s position in the supply chain, and when combined with specific tags embedded with barcode and QR code technology can ensure full skin traceability from the harvester to the finished skin. Data collected through the App are immediately uploaded to an online database and can be retrieved by users in real-time. When an internet connection is not available, data are stored on the device and uploaded when a suitable connection becomes available.
