## What is Reptile Weather?

Stop guessing whether to take your reptile outside or how often to mist today. Reptile Weather gives you a daily score based on your local weather, your species, and your setup.

Every reptile keeper knows the frustration: a routine that worked last month suddenly causes shed problems, or your bearded dragon refuses to bask. The reasons sit in the weather data — UV index, dew point, wind chill, cloud cover — that nobody wants to read every morning.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Add your reptile: species, age, weight, enclosure type, HVAC mode.
2. Reptile Weather pulls your local weather and runs species-specific care math.
3. You get a daily Bask Score (for outdoor species) or Mist Score (for humid species), with the exact time window or misting count.

A single number plus verdict — GO, CAUTION, or STAY IN for outdoor species; mist count and exact times for humid species. Built on Magnus humidity math, NOAA wind chill formula adjusted for body size, and species-specific UV targets.

15 species supported including bearded dragon, ball python, leopard gecko, sulcata tortoise, crested gecko, panther chameleon, veiled chameleon, day gecko, Russian tortoise, Greek tortoise, green iguana, uromastyx, blue-tongue skink, corn snake, and gargoyle gecko. Some species use both modules.
