### 2/5 — Add more reptiles

*2020-07-31, version 1.1.8*

Y’all should add venomous snakes and monitors cause that’s what my collection mainly is and I would love to use this app for them!

### 2/5 — Needs minor updates

*2020-06-12, version 1.1.7*

I pay the $6.99 and id like to see a section that will help me with when the eggs where conceived, also make the text black for the info entrance boxes as well as fix the save issue when entering new animals, if updated i will give five stars!

### 3/5 — Notes Not Working

*2019-11-27, version 1.1.6*

I started using this for my corn snake and a few ball pythons. In the notes I’m trying to list the day I got the snake, price, breeder, and parents but the notes do not save. I write what I need, click done, then save, then go to another snake and come back and the notes are empty. This is really unfortunate because I was enjoying the app and all the information I can easily pull up on the snakes. I would also enjoy being able to add a few more pictures to the snake profile.

### 3/5 — I like it so far

*2019-09-30, version 1.1.6*

Everything has been really easy to use, just can’t figure out how to make the QR codes, that was my main reason for downloading and to keep my snakes organized and keep track of weights, etc. takes some getting used to as far as where everything is, would rate higher if I could figure out the QR code, that’s my biggest issue.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2019-09-13, version 1.1.5*

### 3/5 — Species selection

*2019-07-05, version 1.1.5*

Missing my snakes species😒 In plans on updating species options soon🤷🏽‍♀️

### 3/5 — Great start but hoping for more

*2019-05-04, version 1.1.5*

So far, so good. However, it’s not very useful without iCal integration and/or notifications. Right now you have to open the app to see what’s due. I need automatic reminders of when to feed, etc.

### 3/5 — So far I like it

*2018-12-11, version 1.1.2*

It’s easy to work once you figure it out, it’s also very convenient!
The only bad thing would be that it doesn’t have a large selection of species. It mostly just includes the most common reptiles. So that’s a bit of a downer, I also wish it included amphibians.

### 1/5 — Looked good

*2018-09-03, version 1.1.0*

Downloaded app said it was free but when you go to add your hero you have to buy a subscription why not just be up front and have a price tag to buy the app

### 1/5 — Just Make This a Paid App

*2021-09-11, version 1.1.9*

I downloaded this app to keep track of my lizards’ feedings and sheds. When I read that in-app purchases were available, I figured it would be some advanced care options or access to diagnoses of illnesses. What I didn’t expect was to be prompted to pay for a basic plan just to add in one of my lizards!

If you want to be a paid app, be a paid app. If you want in-app purchases for advanced options, go right ahead. However, it’s pretty cheap of a developer to have someone pay just to add in their reptile. That kind of information should be communicated to customers BEFORE they waste their time downloading the app.

I’ll stick to a physical journal instead of this crock.

### 1/5 — Charged twice and even worst I lost all my data.

*2020-01-27, version 1.1.6*

I loved this app so much. It had a few bugs, but it was good. I bought the basic plan on October 29, 2019. I liked the basic plan a lot, but I wanted to keep track on clutches, so on January 24, 2020 I bought the upgraded Pro plan.

Not only did it charge me again for the basic plan, but it add the full price for the pro plan, even though the app said it would just add to my basic plan.

So I got charged 4.23 again and then a full 7. 41 instead of adding on to my basic plan that I had from October.

Not only was I charged all that, every since I “upgraded” it’s been glitching out and crashing the app.

But the worst of it all I lost all of my data. I had a snake that I had just lost, so to see him literally gone from here was hard.

I loved this app when I first got it in October, but the moment I upgraded it was awful.

### 1/5 — Are you out of your minds?

*2019-12-05, version 1.1.6*

A yearly subscription for this? What a joke. Thanks for wasting my time.

### 1/5 — Your Calendar is wrong!

*2019-10-14, version 1.1.6*

Please fix your calendar 14 of October is a MONDAY

### 1/5 — Needs more reptile options

*2019-08-28, version 1.1.5*

I have a hognose, and there isn’t an option for them on the snake section

### 1/5 — Not free

*2019-05-23, version 1.1.5*

As the other review says this app is not free. You download it and then when you try to add a reptile it makes you pay

### 1/5 — Useless

*2019-04-12, version 1.1.5*

Can’t do anything unless you buy the product and then it’s a yearly cost!

I know it’s not a lot but I’ve got by without it costing me anything, why start now.

### 1/5 — No. I hate your subscription plan

*2019-04-06, version 1.1.5*

I’m not getting sucked into downloading a “free” app and then being asked to pay to even use it. You guys are scammers and should fall down some concrete stairs. I hate you.

### 1/5 — Waste of money better off with SnakeKeeper

*2019-04-03, version 1.1.5*

It’s literally paying 3.99 or 6.99 for a dam calendar😤there is no other features except for basics, and no summary. such a waste. I can use my own dam phone calendar for free🤬

### 1/5 — You can’t even test it

*2019-04-03, version 1.1.5*

I would have liked to try it out but you can’t even add one without purchasing a yearly plan.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2020-06-23, version 1.1.7*

Been using it since last year and gotta say this thing works

### 5/5 — Great Customer Service

*2019-09-22, version 1.1.6*

I can’t say anything bad about the app, works how it needs to and you can chart so many things and add your own custom ones as well. Definitely recommended!!! I did have one issue and submitted a ticket and within a day got back to me and issue was resolved. Customer service was amazing and again can’t say any cons about it.

### 5/5 — New Update!

*2019-09-17, version 1.1.6*

Loving the new update. This app is REALLY coming along. I have stopped using reptile Scan completely. Love the new notifications update. 5 stars and can’t wait to see what’s next!

### 5/5 — Great

*2019-04-11, version 1.1.5*

love this app! great for when you’re keeping reptiles and breeding.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2018-11-12, version 1.1.2*

Clean presentation, easy to use, reliable, detailed oriented application. Better than Snake Keeper. 👌🐍

### 5/5 — 😁👍🏼👍🏼🐍

*2018-08-17, version 1.1.0*

Woah! What a great app. I love it way more then Snake Keeper. I wish I had seen this app when I first bought my ball.

I love the display and the modern touch to the design of the entire application. I’m excited to see this app grow in popularity. I have two snakes and use it to monitor their feeding/health so it’s great for this purpose. However, you can also use it if you’re a breeder. I don’t use the Advanced version of the app, I just bought the Basic Plan since I’m not breeding my snakes. I definitely suggest it either way!

### 5/5 — Great app for hobbyists especially reptile enthusiasts !

*2018-07-28, version 1.0.8751*

This app is great for logging your reptiles' natural cycles, I.e. feeding habits, shedding cycle, growth rate, etc. Even tracking "clutches"! Still in it's early stages but a must have for serious reptile owners! Makes keeping track of scheduling tasks much easier and enjoyable! Thank you!!!!!

### 4/5 — I really like it

*2020-05-02, version 1.1.6*

I’m pretty happy with this app and I even recommended it to a few of my friends.
My only requests would be to add a veggies option for feeding because many lizards eat veggies too and we need to track when they eat those as well. I also wish that there was the option to add tarantulas as well. Otherwise, pretty happy!

### 4/5 — A few bugs, but great potential

*2020-01-25, version 1.1.6*

I like this app a lot! I’m using to track my reptiles, but also my inverts and fish as well. I’d love for it to be a little more customizable in regards to feeding, and to be able to set repeating reminders/notifications at a specific time and frequency. And multiple for each animal! For animals that need veggies and insects but in different frequencies, for example. And ability to set non-feeding schedules reminders/notifications is also essential for an app like this, I feel. Things like cleaning, substrate changes, bulb replacement, filter changes, misting, bioactive care like watering/CUC maintenance… Stuff like that. Other fields for data input on individual reptiles could include dates acquired, last vet visit, breeder, etc. an option for making medical data/symptom entries would be nice also.

I’m having the same issue many others are with the notes for individual animals, as well as similar issues in species and feeder lists. I rename things or reorder them or delete them and the changes disappear, or I have to close the app to force it to reload new changes. And on the topic of reordering, this app really needs the ability to reorder animals! I’ve gathered that they’re probably listed in order of creation? But custom and auto sorting options would aid ease of use for me greatly. Another bug I’ve noticed is sub-folders in the species/feeder lists will populate in the wrong folders if they’re reordered, and sometimes new subfolders will just. Pop up in random folders after being created in a different one.

Cloud syncing is another thing I’d love, maybe via Google account login or something? I’m afraid of losing my records and exporting monthly seems like the only solution currently. A graph function for length/weight and a photo gallery for each animal would be helpful in documenting growth/color changes over time as well!

I think the last improvement I can think of that this app desperately needs is a bug reporting function. I’d love for it to be easier to help this app improve because I think it’s currently doing a lot that other similar apps haven’t tried yet! It’s got a lot of potential and I like it better, design- and function-wise, than the other apps of its kind. I feel like with time, this could definitely become THE herp-keeping app. The price is already worth it, and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

### 4/5 — Very useful

*2019-11-04, version 1.1.6*

My only complaint is that for some reason the photo for one of my snakes doesn’t show the picture of the animal but shows the pic of the one below instead.

Other than that I really like the app it is useful and a good way for me to keep track of my 7 snakes.
