### 5/5 — Best app

*2024-05-10*

This app is seriously awesome! I can keep track of all my animals and their morphs and family trees and weights and all that useful information. Customer service is fantastic. I had a question and some feedback that I had messaged reptool on instagram and received quick responses and reptool valued my feedback and updated the app with these new integrations.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review and feedback Derek, I'm glad I could work with you to resolve the issues you were previously experiencing. If you have any more questions or feedback feel free to send me an email: contact@coldbloodedstudios.com or Instagram @reptoolapp if that works better for you.

### 5/5 — Amazing app and wonderful support!

*2023-10-12*

I’ve been applying my Leopard Geckos into this app and needed some morphs to be added. I contacted Drew, and was shocked at his quick response and the moths I needed were immediately added. I’ve sense been helping him iron out snags as I use an iPhone, iPad and a laptop. I can also use an android tablet. Drew has been wonderful to work with and I’m excited to see how this app grows to fulfill everyone’s expectations!!

### 3/5 — Ok but not good

*2023-08-16*

I wish I could add multiple morphs to one gecko and I wish I could type my own morphs because there’s a lot of morph and morph combos that didn’t make the list. Also I wish I could add more than one picture.

**Developer response:** Hi Derek, I'm sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with my app. RepTool offers a feature on the "Browse Morphs" section where you can suggest genes or morphs that didn't make it to the list. But if you'd like, you can reach out to me personally and I'd be more than happy to add the morphs you need. My email is contact@coldbloodedstudios.com.

Also it is possible to add multiple genes to a reptile. If the reptile has a more complicated expression of genes such as something like pastel het albino you will need to select the "Add by Genes" option from the add reptile screen. From there you can specify the morph and gene expression better.

Regarding adding multiple pictures, I do have that feature planned in an upcoming release.

### 5/5 — Love the app’s potential

*2023-03-11*

This app has amazing potential, love the current features and the fact that I can load this to multiple devices around the shop, but it really needs an update to the ball pythons morphs, other than that it’s amazing but pleeeeease add more morphs, ex my Mystic Potion I can just add Mystic potion or just cinnamon etc

**Developer response:** I'm glad to hear you are enjoying my app! I'm sorry that I'm just now seeing your review, but I've now added Mystic potions. There's are so many ball python morphs to keep track of. If you find any that I've missed you can submit them for approval in the "Browse Morphs" section of the app or you can also contact me by email at contact@coldbloodedstudios.com.
Thanks for the feedback!
Drew

### 1/5 — Should’ve listened to the reviews...

*2020-06-14*

Honestly I don’t rate apps too often, but I felt like this one needed a review.
I read the reviews and they looked real bad, but I noticed the app developers responded right away with solutions and said they fixed things here and there and I was hoping that everything had been fixed. Boy was I wrong..... to begin, the User interface is ridiculous to work around. It’s kind of counter intuitive and frustrating to work with. The page loads are slow and glitch as I swipe to move the screen to another section. Page transitions are jumpy. The genetic calculator is an absolute tragedy, don’t even try to use it. When adding snakes to my collection they are supposed to have a preloaded pic for your snake but one never actually showed up.... so I thought, no problem, they offer the ability to add your own picture..... nope... button to add your own picture doesn’t even register. Information on feeding or notes taken within the app don’t save. Overall even the general use of this app and how bogged down and outdated it seems makes me so upset because it has so much promise, but MASSIVELY under delivers on almost every aspect.

If you’re looking to spend money on an app that will waste your time and your money, then this is the app for you.

**Developer response:** We are deeply sorry that you were experiencing issues with the app. It seems there was an update with how the camera works on iOS devices and caused the camera to not work. We will fix this issue ASAP, as well as optimizing our page loads. Unfortunately, ball pythons are very heavy with the amount of data and this will cause a slower page load. However, we do have a solution to this issue and will be using it in the near future.

The lack of picture loading may be caused by a slow internet connection or our website may have been down for maintenance at the time. We know that isn't an acceptable answer but we will also be looking into a more dependable way to fetch default pictures.

We haven't been able to recreate the issue with the record keeping not saving properly, but in the next release we will be making it so that records are instantly saved as they are edited and not when the "Back To Collection" button is clicked.

We hope that our future releases will be more satisfactory. If you would like to make any more suggestions you can email us at contact@coldbloodedstudios.com

### 1/5 — Don’t buy

*2020-04-27*

Could not add anything. Genetics calculator would not work for tokay geckos. Didn’t really do anything

**Developer response:** Hi Cheech, we’re sorry that the app wasn’t adding your reptiles, please be sure to specify the quantity of each gender in the text fields above. The app was designed to be able to add multiples of a morph as well as one at a time.

As for Tokay Geckos, we aren’t sure what result you are getting but we know that many of the Tokay morphs are considered unproven. Therefore, often the app will give a result of “Wild Type” as a result since we can not guarantee that 2 morphs of unproven morphs can produce the same morph.

If you have any questions or would like to send screenshots of the issues. We’d be more than happy to help you out at: contact@coldbloodedstudios.com

Thanks,
The Cold Blooded Studios Team

### 3/5 — Impressive but needs work

*2020-04-24*

While in the app. Adding new animals it list others at the top, for whatever reason.

You have to add weight from the weight section with date. You can’t just add a weight at the animals beginning when you first update the animal.

The ball python listings of morphs is complicated. I can’t add multiple gentics. For example I have a banana bamboo bumblebee female. It won’t let me add all 4 morphs. I have to add it as the title so I k ow what she is.

**Developer response:** Thank you for downloading our app! We aren't sure what you mean about listing others at the top. We would be more than happy to fix any issues you may have. If you can send us a screenshot of the issue to our email: contact@coldbloodedstudios.com we can get it fixed ASAP.

We used to have it work that way, but we wanted a way to display the weight trends over time. We will brainstorm on a way to make updating weight more convenient in the future.

In order to add a reptile with a morph that hasn't been listed. Simply select the "add by genes" and then you can select all 4 individual genes. In the case of a Banana Bamboo Bumblebee, you will hit add another gene 3 times and then in each dropdown select "Banana", "Bamboo", "Spider" and "Pastel" the app will take care of the rest.

If you have any questions or would like to submit some of your photos please feel free to email us at contact@coldbloodedstudios.com

Thanks,
The Cold Blooded Studios Team

### 1/5 — Freeze!

*2020-03-30*

Freezes every time I open my collection.

**Developer response:** We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues, could you please let us know what reptile it was that caused this issue? That way we can get it fixed ASAP.

We just released an update that will be available as soon as it gets approved by Apple. This release will fix the freezing issue caused by western hognoses. We believe that was the reptile causing the issue.

Thanks,
The Cold Blooded Studios Team

### 3/5 — Cant handle too many genes

*2020-03-20*

Put in a mack snow raptor white and yellow to a Mack snow eclipse hyper xanthic het tremper and the results were half super raptor and half super snow eclipse het for tremper. Great app if they can fix this issue. Please find solution or give me a refund. Literally just got the app.

**Developer response:** Hi Cjdo,
Thank you for your review of our app! We just released an update to the genetic calculator. The results you receive should now be correct.

If you have any questions or if you can provide screenshots you can email us at contact@coldbloodedstudios.com.

Thanks,
The Cold Blooded Studio Team

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2020-01-27*

It makes two copies of each reptitle. I am not able to delete anything. I placed everything as not for sale yet everything shows available. This appos not ready and definitely not worth the $5 today. Maybe In a few more months and updates I will check it again. But for now just trying to figure out how to cancel the order and get my money back.

**Developer response:** Hi ReptileGuy,
It appears you were correct, there was a bug that creates an additional copy of the first reptile you added. We have now fixed these bugs in our latest update.

As for deleting reptiles, you have to hit the “Get List” button for the reptiles you want to delete. From there you need to change the drop down to “Delete Selected” then hit the “Delete” button after selecting the ones you wish to delete.

We apologize for not catching this bug prior to release. Sometimes bugs like this find their way through the debug process. We will be sure to test our app more extensively going forward

Thanks,
The Cold Blooded Studios Team
