Then the app cut off some of the weeks for pickup. Now I can’t even get on to see the pickup schedule. ### 3/5 — Whole neighborhood *2026-05-20, version 4.53.0* My garbage was was to picked up May 15, 2026 and it 5 days and no one has come yet. I have called and they said they was coming out and another day has passed. It’s May 19 now and still no garbage pickup. I thought I was the only one but I found out that the whole neighborhood wasn’t picked up. I’m surprised we didn’t a text or something about any delay in service ### 2/5 — Slightly better after years of being broken *2025-12-11, version 4.51.0* You finally made the app actually do something. It has acted as a gateway for your website for years it used to be decent persistent logins on an app. How about fixing the persistent login issue? Having to do a full login every time is really primitive. I didn’t get this app because I’m a garbage enthusiast I got it to pay my bill. ### 1/5 — Poor service regarding pickup on time *2025-01-21, version 4.47.0* Republic services will not let you sign in unless you give them permission to follow you and use that information to sell to other 3rd parties. You cannot get a customer service representative without spending at least an hour or longer, I would suggest they offer a callback when your time is scheduled. Republic doesn't provide adequate services however they do expect payment on time. In our community we only have one option for pick up and that is Republic. I am going to suggest our elected officials to look into this matter and find another reliable company. ### 1/5 — No trash service since December 2024. *2025-01-17, version 4.47.0* I have a negative balance of $573.12. I tried to call yesterday. After being on hold for 6 minutes!! I finally spoke to an agent. He verified the neg. balance and told me that trash pickup will be on Wednesday. That was Monday. It is now Friday and still no pickup. I have tried to contact them and no answer after 4 tries. I am so mad that they are using my money and not providing services. This is unacceptable. Mainly when there is a holiday, as even if the holiday isn't on my pickup day, they sometimes move the day. This is the 3rd time I've checked the schedule before putting everything out only to come home from work later in the evening to find no garbage or recycling has been picked up for the area. Not only does the schedule just seem to be the expected static schedule, but I noticed I no longer get service alerts. I get my reminder I set in the app but I have the service alerts on and am just realizing I used to receive push alerts if they would be late or another day and I haven't seen an alert in a while either. The other items the App adds I could just as well get to from the website. The reason I installed an app is so I can verify the scheduling. ### 2/5 — Continually signs me out *2024-12-24, version 4.47.0* If I could stay signed in, I might have a higher opinion of it. ### 1/5 — Dumb security isn’t security *2024-12-16, version 4.47.0* I use the app for one thing - to know what carts to put out on any given pickup day. In the name of “security” the app fails to maintain my login credentials from week to week, and then requires a cumbersome login process in a web browser. My banks simultaneously have high security AND an easy user experience. Has even less functionality than the preview photos would suggest. Repeatedly get an error that we can’t use AutoPay or online pay and have to pay by phone as a result. App nor website gives any indication of how to fix this and for some reason this also means we can’t see our accounts invoice history?? I then submit the request with no comments and I get an auto-response saying they need additional info from me. HELLO!!!!! Why is there no Face ID to eliminate this or at least the option to stay logged in? Makes this worthless because I can use the website if I want to log in all the time. You have to hunt for that option and there is no lead provided to schedule or call for that feature. Obviously I will call customer support to schedule but it would be helpful if you had a line like, “Bulk pickup scheduling is not available online or on the app. Please call # to arrange for bulk pickup” I’d like to mention this issue with customer service and have pointed this out before but we all know customer support does nothing to field these types of suggestions. ### 1/5 — Please fix *2026-01-26, version 4.52.0* I can’t even pay my bill that’s due in 2 weeks! I’ve taken my own garbage to the landfill for years and decided to order your services this past month. I can’t believe how inexpensive they are. Your driver is always on time, and best of all, I don’t have to go to the landfill. Sounds silly, but my week is a whole lot easier having your service provided. Worth every penny. I wish it was a little easier to link or unlink multiple service accounts, but it’s a very simple solution to use instead of using the website or calling. ### 4/5 — Schedule error for holidays *2024-12-26, version 4.47.0* This app can alert you when the pickup will be as a reminder. Unfortunately it fails when there is a holiday schedule. Example: my pickup is Friday. App shows schedule as Friday. Alert comes on Thursday the day before. That’s ok except when there is a holiday I.e. Christmas is on Wednesday so my pickup is a day later on Saturday. Ironically the website shows the holiday schedule as the correct holiday Sat. pickup date. The app needs to reflect the same. ### 4/5 — New version 10-20-23 *2023-10-21, version 4.44.5* App usually works well but most recent upgrade will not launch. Using apple i-phone 14 pro and ios 16.7.1. ### 4/5 — Okay *2017-09-26, version 3.0.2* App works okay and if you have Republic you will find it handy. Does have room for improvement, however. Biggest miss is the Reminder feature. It doesn’t pull from your actual pickup schedule so if your days change because of a holiday it doesn’t change with it.
