Pro is one thing now. The app remembers your setups. That covers saved templates, the dial you used last, session mode, overtime and your history. On the free plan the dial returns to its default when you fully quit and relaunch. Templates you already saved stay where they are, locked. You can add Rereminder to the Apple Watch Smart Stack. See the time left and the next alert without opening the app. It works as a watch face complication too. The watch timer screen was redrawn. The ring follows the edge of the display, so the buttons no longer get cut off on smaller watches. Timers can keep alerting until you acknowledge them. Turn it on in Settings under Notifications and the end alert repeats until you tap Stop or Snooze. Your Apple Watch can alert first and your iPhone join in if you do not respond, and stopping on either device stops both. This is off by default. Presentation mode is now called session mode. The feature is unchanged. If you bought Pro before the price goes up you become a founding supporter. Every paid feature added from here on is yours at no extra cost. When you finish a session we ask for the next date and remind you at 7pm the evening before. Classes and workshops are now in the list of situations you pick from at first launch. In 2.2.0 you could pick between four timer shapes, but using it showed the real problem: drawing the same minutes in two places at once. Two rings, or a ring and a bar — either way you had to decide which one to read before you could read it. On a screen meant to answer in one second, that decision is expensive. So shape picking is gone and the single ring is back. The section colours split by your alerts are still there, and the middle holds one number: the whole time remaining. Start and stop moved back inside the circle too. How much of the current section is left is answered by the list under the circle — and that list now has bars. A four-minute section and an eight-minute one differ by exactly that much in length, and as time passes the bars shrink while staying anchored to the right. Before, only the numbers moved, so comparing section sizes was arithmetic you had to do in your head. Section lengths are visible before you start, too. Turn on two or more alerts and their lengths appear in a row under the dial. Moving a bell is an angle you drag on the ring, and angles don't tell you minutes — you used to find out only after you'd already moved it. Two alerts are now free. What this app promises is that it taps you on the shoulder more than once before time is up, and with a single alert that promise doesn't hold — one heads-up is something the built-in timer already does. Two is where the idea starts working, so two is free. Hitting the limit no longer stops you. If you try to add one more alert and you're out, we turn it on for you once (once a day). The moment you hit the wall is the moment the feature is worth the most to you; opening a purchase screen there doesn't help anyone. We notice the setups you repeat. Start the same timer — same length, same alerts — on two different days, and the next time you open the app we'll ask once whether to save it as a template. Once per setup, and if you say no we don't bring it up again. The Lock Screen now matches the app. It used to show green, orange, and red buttons that appeared nowhere else in the app. Now it uses the accent colour you picked, and the buttons are the same round shape and colour as the ones inside the app. The remaining time also used to round itself off to something like "8 minutes" — it counts down properly now, seconds and all. Also: the pause, resume, and stop buttons in the Dynamic Island actually work. They previously did nothing at all when tapped. Privacy: nothing about collection has changed — anonymous counts only, sent to the developer's own iCloud. This version adds one number: how many timers ran to the end with an alert actually ringing along the way (the count, nothing else). Your content — timer names, alert messages, presentation scripts — still never leaves your phone. ### 2.2.0 — 2026-08-24 You can now choose how the timer looks. In Settings › Appearance › Timer Shape, pick one of four: ring, double ring, section bar, or folded line. Names alone don't tell you much, so the same example timer is drawn four ways for you to compare. While a timer runs you see only the shape you picked — the app no longer stacks a ring and a bar together. Drawing the same minutes twice just makes you choose which one to read. The double ring is the default. The outer circle shows how much of the whole timer is left; the inner one shows how much of the stretch you're in is left. Both numbers now run inside the circle — the total in large type, and under it the current stretch with a dot in that stretch's color. Look up once during a talk and you get both "when does this end" and "how long in this part". Start and pause moved outside the circle. Instead of colored dots that only had room for an icon, there's a proper button below the dial that says what it does. That frees the middle for two lines of time, and the bells and handle on the ring are no longer covered by a button. Every shape now shows where the alerts ring. On the section bar the gaps between blocks used to look like the bar was simply broken; now a bell sits in each gap, so it's clear what the break means. Presentation mode holds your script. Write what you'll say in each section, and while you present, that section's text opens below the dial when its turn comes. It swaps as you cross into the next section, and if you didn't write anything the section list stays exactly as before. Alert messages are written where you turn alerts on. The pre-alerts sheet now has "what it says when it rings" right under the alert chips — one line per alert you turned on, plus one for the end. Leave a line empty and you'll see, in grey, exactly what will be said instead. It used to live deep in Settings, where nobody found it. The first-run walkthrough is new — something to try rather than to read. Pick what you'll use the app for (a talk, a workout, focus time, cooking, a meeting) and we set the timer up for that, then run it in front of you at speed: the whole thing finishes in ten seconds, bells and all. If you like it, save it as a template right there. When the walkthrough ends, the setup you chose is already on the dial. Not sure what you'll use it for? That's an answer too — we'll suggest one. Scripts stay on this device. ### 2.1.1 — 2026-08-21 The dial keeps its per-alert colors while the timer runs. It used to collapse into a single color the moment you started, so you could not tell which stretch you were in. Now only the arc shrinks — the color boundaries stay where they are, and one color disappears each time you pass an alert. Each stretch now gets its own countdown below the dial. If you split 45 minutes into 20 and 25, only 20:00 counts down at first while 25:00 waits; the moment the first stretch ends, the second one starts running. The numbers use the same colors as the dial and only the current stretch is at full strength, so a glance tells you how long is left in the part you are in. The app asks once whether you use an Apple Watch or a Mac. Only the devices you say you have show a connection status under the timer, and tapping it walks you through what to do. Say you don't have one and it won't be mentioned again. You can change your answers any time in Settings › My Devices. Rereminder runs on Mac again. A timer you start on iPhone carries over, and the time left stays visible in the menu bar. Requires macOS 26 or later. Fixed a bell that jumped when you let go of it after moving it. It now stays exactly where you dropped it, and it eases back to its normal size as the time badge fades. The orange bar that sat underneath each bell is gone too — once an alert rang and the bell dimmed, that bar was the only thing left at full strength, which looked wrong. It used to split into colors only while you were dragging a bell and went back to a single color the moment you let go. Now the stretches between alerts each keep their own color at rest. They match the section cards in Presentation mode, so a card and its stretch on the dial stay connected. Timers longer than an hour are drawn as two rings. The first hour is the outer ring, the overflow is the inner one, and the bells and handle sit on whichever ring holds their time. Previously the second lap was drawn on top of the first, which made it hard to tell 90 minutes from 30. Fixed a bug where you could not shorten a timer longer than an hour using manual entry. With 110 minutes set, opening the manual input showed minutes only up to 60, so 45 could not be selected. It now offers the same range as the dial, up to 120 minutes. Alerts you have switched on now come first in the list. What is currently set is the thing you most need to see, and in plain time order those alerts kept getting pushed to the right as presets piled up, out of sight. Naming sections in Presentation mode is less cramped. Tapping anywhere on the screen dismisses the keyboard, the card you are editing scrolls up above the keyboard, and the section list gets more room while you type. Every so often the app will ask whether anything has been bothering you, so you can tell us without hunting for the feedback button in Settings. The developer reads every message. Privacy: the third-party analytics SDK is gone entirely. In its place, only anonymous counts of which features get used are collected in the developer's own iCloud.
