I’m now out $20.02 which doesn’t sound like much until you consider I’m a high school student who gets paid $16.60/hour and just lost over an hour of work on literally nothing. I’m now just really disappointed and don’t know what to do so I’m hoping this review will draw attention to this problem. ### 3/5 — Most good stuff costs money *2026-01-23, version 1.0.3* It’s a good idea turned into a good game, but I feel like, your game not targeted since most games have this too, but the idea of there being premium versions with more content is a bit annoying. Most of the stuff I see which I actually want I can’t get. The free version has very little to offer; it’s a demo, if you actually want to create anything you’ll need the paid version. But the paid version has lots of options. What it lacks is poses. It *desperately* needs even a small handful of poses, 3-5 would make a huge difference. The default pose is very static looking, and many props look downright silly held in their default position. The bow-armed stance makes everyone look kind of buff. Maybe even if it could just export the characters in layers for each limb so we could more easily pose them ourselves? Idk. I love the look the art but can’t really use it for anything with just one kind of bad pose. ### 3/5 — Won’t Work *2025-01-18, version 1.0.3* I was having lots of fun on the free version and made 3 characters . However when i opened the app again it would not load . I was also thinking that maybe you could add a pointy gnome hat so I can really feel like a garden gnome. Chose the basic free package. Said it had 16 races including goliath. That was false. Now every time I try to log back in I am stuck on a long loading screen. This app would be perfect for DM’s creating NPCS or players visualising their characters better. HOWEVER, the lag is unreal almost to the point where you can’t do anything. Once you sink money in, the app decides to take a dump and won’t let you past the main loading screen, making it UNUSABLE I don’t normally spend money on these things and was willing to look past the lag but now I can’t get into the app at all???? Has all the necessary parts of a character with enough room for additional (collapsible!) notes But you can still easily modify anything (so you aren’t locked out of any homebrew aspects like spells or bonuses to stats, unlike other online character sheets) The only parts you need to pay money for are cosmetic pixel art options for your character, which if you’re just using the app for a character sheet doesn’t matter at all! Me and my friend talk often about how good it is literally feels like putting a character on paper but keeping many characters in my pocket at all times. Am I dumb *2024-07-20, version 1.0.3* Best app ever, beautiful art just amazing but I’m trying to buy the standard edition and I can’t figure out were it is like I’m looking for the purchase key thing that was there and I can’t find it I don’t know if it’s only mine that doesn’t have it or that I am just dumb help what do I do ### 5/5 — Great inventory/art, not for new players *2024-02-23, version 1.0.3* Pros: customizable character art of non-human races! Fur and scale rejoice! And you can change the adventuring gear they wear/hold! And all the armor/accessories are tweaked to fit on any body/creature type! Inventory management is better than many others- I can use the Other type for anything, and give it a counter for how many there is. Is not limited to items found in official books. The flip side being that you have to add the descriptions for everything you add- I usually cut the description down to the essentials like one would when taking notes in a lecture. Cons: slight learning curve for navigating between pages in-session. Does not help combat action economy, as class abilities are on a separate page. Would be nice to have a tag system that can mark abilities as action/bonus/reaction to show up on the combat page.
