What is new is that this was designed by someone who clearly knows and uses samplers and sampler apps. For a V1 app it has nearly everything you need. The big difference being, it has a well thought out workflow that will become so easy to use, you won’t even think about it in time. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this goes, it’s already better than some sampler apps and could easily go further in time… ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — 1.3.1 Incorrect playback of samples *2026-07-24* Nice app at the first look. But there is a huge problem with the playback of one shot samples. The attack is diminished, it sounds like a sweep envelope was applied on it or the sample start point is not respected like moved forward, you loose all the dynamic of a drum sample. But if you quickly hit several times the drum sample, the attack will be correct so long the playback of the sample is not finished. Do the test with a long snare sample. How the developers and testers doesn’t heard that ? ### 1/5 — Wow *2026-07-06* Can we get a manual in PDF form? ### 2/5 — Buggy *2026-07-23, version 1.3.1* So far it’s pretty buggy for me. Laggy with a lot of latency as well as issues with the app not allowing me to turn off note repeat. It doesn’t behave as expected. Navigation is not intuitive at all. I really want to like this but I’m having a hard time. Even something like not being able to load a sample to the pad you want to load it to is a hassle. So what you have to do is load the sample and then copy it to the pad you wanted it on originally. It feels more like this app was made with AI rather than a human ### 4/5 — Aesthetically pleasing *2026-09-05, version 1.6.0* I like the aesthetic and the person who made this is a brilliant YouTube personality. The app is not quite as intuitive as I would like. I am going to have to watch a lot of videos to understand everything. But I definitely like the idea of it. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2026-07-04* I stumbled upon the app after YouTube presented me a random video from its author. The UI is very functional and needs some learning, but the app has all the features I need and performs well. Well spent 5 EUR. ### 5/5 — came at the perfect time. *2026-08-22, version 1.6.0* i've never been satisfied with any drum samplers/machines available, particularly due to the lack of integration with external folders. my sample library is creeping up on triple-GB. not only does Resamplr simply feature the audio pool I've been waiting for—but it NEVER has crashed; it allows you to preview your samples; drag n drop right into your pads. all without "caching" the entirety onto your device. SO grateful for this. also the layering/editing ability per pad is beyond appreciated. you could get lost for hours just fine-tuning your samples in Resamplr alone. thank you a million times over for this incredible tool! a genuine sanity saver! ### 5/5 — Let’s GO!!!!!!! *2026-07-27, version 1.3.1* So stoked that a producer that I’ve learned so much from and admired has created an app! If you’re already a fan of the punchy workflow in Koala Sampler or the raw, tactile grit of the Roland SP series, you’ll be up and running with it in no time. It bridges the gap between those classic hardware vibes and the fluid, expressive freedom of an iOS interface perfectly, making audio sculpting feel completely natural. With deep sound-mangling tools and some fantastic tutorials to get you moving, it’s already a total game-changer for my setup—I can’t wait to see where this app goes next. ### 5/5 — From a complete beginner *2026-07-14, version 1.1.1* I’m new to sampling so wanted to get an app to see if it’s something I’d be interested in. The good folks that made it are iOS BeatMakers. It’s only 3 weeks in and the updates are flowing because the designer love’s feedback and acts on input. And for everything it does , it’s my go to when I can’t get in the studio. ### 5/5 — Years Of Experience Baked In *2026-07-11, version 1.1.0* NervousCook$ (YouTube) and his developer partner, are bringing us years and years of experience and understanding of sampling hardware workflow, in a ridiculously affordable app. Musicians have always had multiple samplers, machines, guitars, effects, amps, drums. Resistance is futile. It’s okay to have this and 🐨. Both can help you be creative. ### 5/5 — This is a definite go to *2026-07-02, version 1.0.4* It’s still early days, but I’m already loving the direction that this is headed. The developer is an experienced, talented producer, so everything added will be useful and efficient. I know he will continue to create useful features that enhance workflow.
