I’m always looking for ways to keep my kids safe while I’m away at work. I have teens and their safety is my top priority. My neighbor showed me this app and I had to get it right away for my kids! Not only are my kids safe but now I feel calm and collective at work😌

### 5/5 — That’s right Faster than 9-1-1

*2018-07-27, version 1.2.2*

Who wants to wait to be put on hold for a long time with 9-1-1 when you need immediate emergency responders, not me seconds turns into minutes when you need help. Wait no more, Very pleased with this app. It’s simple to install, two taps and I get a emergency responders. Highly recommended for family and friends. My family is safer with Rescu, knowing I get immediate help when I need it.

Super easy to use. I set it up and have all my direct family in it so besides calling the police/ambulance/fire dep it also notifies my family. Recommend it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2025-12-19, version 3.6.1*

It keeps logging me out, during my emergency it made me login to my account that I lost my password to and wanted me to reset. What is this mess??? I just called 911, ambulance showed up within minutes. This app is pointless, why pay money for something you get for free..
“Fastest way to dispatch” that’s funny. This actually adds an extra step to 911 and delays your signal. IF thy get your signal, they actually call the closest emergency dispatch. If you are to call 911, they send you the help directly. 911 didn’t have to call somewhere else to dispatch your alarm.

### 1/5 — Delays Response

*2025-10-12, version 3.5.7*

Although they’re telling you this is the “fastest” way to get help, that’s not correct. This process literally DELAYS the response, and it could cause you to receive the wrong help or help too late. I’ve been a 911 dispatcher for 15 years, and if you can use your phone, you need to contact 911, tell them your exact location and what’s going on; you can call or text in most areas now. The “unnecessary questions” are actually vital to YOUR well being because they determine the response plan (who comes), i.e., 3 police cars, 2 fire engines, 1 tanker, 3 ambulances, and a district chief vs 1 ambulance. Every year, medical directors, police, fire, and EMS personnel as well as private citizens in some areas review, revise, and perfect the standards and requirements for 911 procedures and questions to get the BEST and MOST APPROPRIATE help possible for callers (YOU). I’ve never worked for ANY public safety dispatch that doesn’t call the alarm customer directly after getting the alarm from the company, and a lot of alarm companies even wait to contact 911 until they have called or attempted contact with the customer. This company is NOT directly linked to public safety, so you push the buttons, a person or automated system reads and responds, and THEN still has to either call or send a message to 911 for help. If you’ve given no information, you may not get the correct response (too little or not enough); you could be taking resources from someone else who needed them while you only needed a single ambulance or a lift assist, or you could be trapped and hurt but only getting an ambulance and then still have to wait for fire to respond once EMS is with you. The lack of information also causes safety concerns for first responders, so you never just send the ambulance because it’s a blind situation; you can’t help anyone if you’re also in danger.
I understand the desire for an app that does this, as I’ve been yelled at countless times to “just send them” and “stop asking stupid questions.” However, this app isn’t solving anything, just causing delays and possibly costing someone else their life due to resources being tied up for unknown situations. Just call or text 911 and answer the 3-8 questions to get you the best help because your 911 dispatcher also is trained to help you before EMS arrives, not an alarm company agent.
JUST CONTACT 911 YOURSELF.

### 1/5 — New subscription model, no longer free

*2019-11-03, version 2.1.3*

In test mode forever (not just for 7 days) after recent update, no longer free. Uninstalled!!!

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing during setup

*2019-10-26, version 2.1.3*

Tried registering with this app but it keeps crashing at the accept terms and conditions step. Completely worthless trash

### 1/5 — I don’t understand

*2019-01-24, version 1.2.3*

First... Alarm Relay is amazing. Great company!!!! As far as this app is concerned, it does not make sense!!! I am a 911 career Paramedic, so I have a valid concern and opinion. Notification of a third party to call 911 for you... WHEN YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO USE YOUR CELL PHONE... is just delaying the process. Sure “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” buttons are great. If you have the ability to speak directly with a 911 dispatcher... that’s what you should do. They have the ability to relay real time information to those that are coming to your home. Third party cannot do that! Third party is an extra, unnecessary step in getting help. Please take this app for what it’s worth and never delay care. Just this professionals opinion. By the way... absolutely use the monitoring system and buy the Helix hardware. There is nothing better on the market !!!!!!

### 5/5 — Rescu is real

*2023-10-13, version 3.5.1*

I had to use Rescu for real today after my mom had difficulty breathing. The paramedics arrived quickly. Mom was treated at the hospital and released. Thank goodness it was nothing to serious. This app is amazing and I will use it as long as I am alive.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2022-05-17, version 3.3.8*

Great app, definitely worth having just in case

### 5/5 — Best dispatch ever

*2022-01-03, version 3.3.7*

Never thought I would have to use this app but I’m so glad I had it this past weekend. On New Years Eve my husband and I were at a drive thru parking lot when an unknown man approached our vehicle and tried to access our car. He continued to aggressively screaming and throwing items around and trying to get is the car. I was so shaken up but I’m glad I remembered that I had Rescu. I opened the app and dispatched immediately to my current location and within seconds I had confirmation that help was on the way. I also received a chat message from the operator that help was on the way to my location and a couple of minutes later the operator called me to check on how I was doing. Jordan was very calming, caring and helpful. I’m extremely grateful of the entire Rescu team and for this app.

### 5/5 — It’s only California or all us please I’m want to know

*2021-02-21, version 3.3.4*

Please I’m want to know

### 5/5 — Rescu

*2020-12-13, version 3.3.1*

Very useful and easy to use I don’t need to call 911 and answer ridiculous questions for minutes long. It’s only two taps away.

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best experience

*2020-12-12*

I had the greatest chance of meeting with director of Rescu IT, Dogukan. All of their planned features and updates have been released and it showed me how focused they are also serious about this app. They are legit and I love the app. I’m a disabled person and was being charged 60 dollars a month for a similar system. I’m paying the same amount annual. I really do appreciate this app.

### 5/5 — Can't go wrong with this app!!

*2020-10-16, version 3.3.0*

Not only useful for people with health problems but for anyone. Have a couple relatives using this app. This is awesome!

### 5/5 — Really impressed

*2020-08-28, version 2.2.2*

Downloaded this app two weeks ago as it was recommended by my friend and I’m honestly so happy that I did. This app is so simple to use and I now feel so safe in my home or when I’m away. Feels great to have security for my home without spending so much money

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2020-08-21, version 2.2.2*

Had this for about a year now and it makes me feel safe!

### 5/5 — Single Father

*2020-08-10, version 2.2.2*

I’m a single father of 3 little ones. Unfortunately, since we rent we can not have an alarm system. My new neighbor recommended this app when we moved in. I feel a lot safer knowing that my children and myself can receive help at any moments notice. Thank you Rescu!!!
