## What is Reset?

Undertow is for the exact moment the pull hits.

Not a journal. Not a tracker. No numbers, no scores, nothing to log. Undertow does one thing well: it occupies the part of your brain that builds the wave, long enough for it to pass.

WHY IT WORKS
A strong pull runs on mental imagery. You picture it. You can almost feel it. That image lives in your visuospatial working memory. Fill that same space with a small, demanding visual task and the image gets fainter, less vivid, less insistent. That principle is the whole engine of Undertow.

THREE MINUTES, START TO FINISH
1. Tap the button when the wave rises.
2. Pick a mini-task: shape rotation, light trail, guided breathing, or a short walk with things to notice around you.
3. Three minutes later, say what was going on — or say nothing. Your call.

THE MINI-GAMES
• Rotation — find the shape that matches, not its mirror. Short, precise, absorbing.
• Light Trail — repeat a glowing sequence that grows one step at a time.
• Breathing — a slow rhythm to follow, with no anxious countdown.
• Walk — leave the screen for two minutes and notice a color, a number, a texture out in the world.

AFTERWARDS
You can record a short voice note about what was happening — a bad meeting, a quiet apartment, the end of a long day. You never fill in a form. Over time those notes become a Pattern Map: a gentle view of when your waves tend to arrive and what tends to be going on around them.

WHAT UNDERTOW WILL NEVER DO
• Never ask you to log anything
• Never show a number, a weight, or a point total
• Never break a streak or shame you for skipping
• Never tell you that you failed

There is no wrong way to use it. Open it, ride out three minutes, close it. Some waves pass. Some don't. Both are fine, and the app treats them the same.

PRIVACY

Undertow is $1.99 per month with a one-week free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID account settings. Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
