### 1/5 — DOES NOT WORK WITH NEW IOS

My dog chewed my remote so I called to get a replacement. I was told by customer service they don’t have individual remotes you can purchase and he suggested me downloading the app. I was excited about this being that I would rather have a remote on my phone instead of a physical, remote, but that gladness soon ended in frustration. Downloaded the app, even tried the previous review suggestion of unplugging it at the base instead of out the outlet did everything that I knew to do to try to get it to work and nothing. I was that it most likely won’t work or be compatible with the newest versions of iOS. So now I’m twiddling my fingers in a somewhat upright position with no remote waiting for the app to update so that I’m able to actually have a remote.

Works perfect with my nectar (oken) bed frame. I paired it exactly the same way as I do with remote that came with the bed and it worked the very first time. Functions great as a backup especially since I can’t find replacements for the original.

Tried every different way to get it into pairing mode butbir doesn't show in the app. The bed shows up in my WiFi networks as Star###... but it is password protected. Nectar customer support had no tips for getting it to work.

I have a Nectar adjustable frame. I unplugged the bed. Waited about a minute and replugged. After waiting for the under bed light to turn green, I opened the app. The app saw the bed frame. It connected and is working perfectly. No complaints here! Thank you.

I got this app after getting a new Nectar bed with the premium adjustable base. The paper directions that come with the base are super generic. There’s one page about this app and the control unit to get it paired up but it seems it’s dated. My control unit had no pair button on it. The app saw the bed but it would never pair. The Okin website was no help either. But to make it work I followed the paper directions very loosely by unplugging the power to the control unit AFTER the power supply. Not at the outlet since the power supply never looses power with the batteries in it. Once it reconnected it the control units light went blue to boot up then green. Right after it turned green, I looked for the bed on the app and it linked up. After that the app worked pretty decent. At least as a back to the remote.

The reviews that are saying they can't program the app or the remote, they don't know how to follow directions. Not too hard to do. The app is very generic, but it works fine. I like it better than the remote because the remote is too bright, the phone you can dim it down nice.
