Resident Live - Tax Days

Resident Live counts the days that decide your tax residency, and tells you what they mean. Not a spreadsheet you have to remember to update, and not a guess. The app keeps one number for every country you have been in over the rolling 12 months, checks it against the 183-day line, and says plainly where you stand. SAY WHAT YOU ARE AFTER The same days read three ways, so pick the one that is yours: • Become a resident — how far you still are from 183 days • Keep residency — how much buffer you have above it • Stay under — how much room is left before you cross it Every country carries its own goal, so becoming a resident in one place and staying under the line in another is one screen, not two apps. KNOW WHERE YOU STAND • Days over or under the line, and the exact count behind it • A strip of your last 70 days, and the same year read month by month • The countries closest to their own line, first • A map of the window: which country every day went to, and the route between them SEE A TRIP'S COST BEFORE YOU BOOK IT Plan a trip and the answer comes with it: eight days away can cost fewer than eight days of your count, because days at the far end of the window are dropping out at the same time. The app does that arithmetic for you, per country, for the trip you are actually looking at. Days another trip already claims are marked in the calendar and cannot be picked twice. DAYS THE PHONE MISSED, FILLED BY HAND A phone that was off or offline leaves days nobody can account for, and an unaccounted day keeps your answer a range instead of a number. Say where you were and the day counts again — one country, or split across several if you moved. A stay recorded wrong can be corrected or removed, dates and country alike. TRACKING THAT RUNS ITSELF With location permission the app records where you are while it is closed, so the days accumulate without you opening anything. Turn it off and the history is yours to fill in by hand — the app never claims to be tracking when it is not.
