## What is Residipok?

Residipok is a pocket reference for licensed healthcare professionals, trainees, and medical students of accredited health-professions programs.

TWO MODULES (v0.4)

• MIC Lookup
Choose a bacterium and an antibiotic to see the EUCAST v16.0 (2026) Clinical Breakpoint thresholds — S, I, R bands by clinical context (systemic, meningitis, urinary, high-dose). Enter an MIC value to categorise it. Special states clearly labelled when no breakpoint is published or the organism is intrinsically resistant. Built especially for pan-resistance scenarios where every threshold matters.

• ESC Guideline Reference
Structured Class / Level of Evidence summaries of recent ESC cardiology guidelines, covering acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, endocarditis, cardiomyopathies, valvular disease, pulmonary hypertension and embolism, peripheral arterial disease, dyslipidaemia, prevention, pregnancy, syncope, supraventricular tachycardia, and more. Each recommendation card links back to the original guideline on escardio.org.

IMPORTANT — REFERENCE ONLY

• Residipok is NOT a medical device.
• It does NOT diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
• It is NOT a substitute for clinical judgement or for the original published guideline / breakpoint table.
• Always verify against the current EUCAST table and the latest ESC document before clinical reporting.

Requires confirmation of HCP / trainee status on first launch. Sign-in by email, Apple, or Google.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-08-17

Nutrition Support for pharmacists — now with neonatal TPN and an NPO decision tool.

- Adult EN/PN calculator (ACCP formulas): energy, protein, fluid, PN macronutrient breakdown, dextrose rate, refeeding check — each output shows the formula used.
- NEW Neonatal / paediatric TPN calculator: fluid-by-day-of-life table (birth-weight bands), amino-acid and lipid ramp (with the phototherapy 0.5 g/kg lipid cap), GIR to glucose grams, glucose final concentration with the peripheral 12.5 percent cap, alligation helper, osmolarity, calories and NPC:N — plus detailed clinical notes (indications, glucose/GIR, monitoring, complications).
- NEW NPO / PN-indication tool (adults): enter gut function, nutritional status and expected NPO days to see whether EN or PN is indicated, with the rationale and route.
- NEW peripheral-line osmolarity check on the adult calculator (peripheral under 900 mOsm/L vs central).
- Reference: order of mixing, calcium-phosphate rules, complications, electrolytes, monitoring, and product notes.
- Practice cases are saved on your device only.

Educational estimator for licensed healthcare professionals — not a prescription, not a compounding order, not a medical device. Every output is an estimate to verify against the current source and local protocol.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-12

v1.5: two new reference tools

- Dialysis Reference — is a drug removed by haemodialysis? A searchable list of 44 medications marked dialyzable / not removed / partial, with the PK basis and whether a supplemental dose is typically given after HD. Filter by removal status.
- Vaccination Reference — the CDC/ACIP adolescent-to-older-adult immunization schedule. Search by vaccine or by situation (pregnancy, breastfeeding, asplenia, diabetes, ≥65, immunocompromised). Each vaccine shows its schedule, pregnancy and breastfeeding status, and the conditions that specifically call for it — influenza, pneumococcal (PCV/PPSV23), meningococcal (MenACWY/MenB), Tdap, HPV, zoster, RSV, hepatitis A/B and more.
- Updated first-launch disclaimer.

Educational reference for licensed healthcare professionals; drawn from standard published sources and revised regularly. Not a diagnosis, not a dosing calculator, not a medical device. Verify every entry against the current source and your local protocol.

### 1.4 — 2026-07-24

v1.4: ABG Interpreter

- New tool: enter arterial pH, pCO2, HCO3 and anion gap to classify the acid-base pattern (metabolic / respiratory acidosis or alkalosis, compensation status, high vs normal anion gap, and mixed disorders) by the standard stepwise method.
- Each result lists common textbook causes (MUDPILES, HARDUPS, and the classic differentials) and general management principles as an educational aid.
- Home screen now shows the ABG Interpreter alongside MIC Lookup, Guidelines, Empiric, and Perioperative.
- Updated first-launch disclaimer.

Educational reference for licensed healthcare professionals; not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, not a medical device. The interpretation is a learning aid to be correlated with the full clinical picture and your own judgment.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-07

v1.3: Perioperative Reference module

- New quick-lookup module for perioperative medication timing (hold / continue / bridge / reduce dose)
- 55 cited drug entries drawn verbatim from ACC/AHA 2024 Perioperative CV Management, CHEST 2022 Antithrombotic, ADA 2024 Standards of Care, ASA 2023 GLP-1 guidance, and FDA SGLT2 safety communication
- Categories covered: anticoagulants, antiplatelets, cardiovascular, diabetes, analgesics, corticosteroids, endocrine, respiratory, and herbal supplements
- Home screen redesigned as a 2×2 grid to accommodate the new module
- Updated first-launch disclaimer to include perioperative content
- "Request this drug" link on the perioperative screen for drugs not yet in the reference

Educational reference for licensed healthcare professionals; not medical advice, not a medical device. Verify every entry against the original guideline before clinical use.

### 1.2 — 2026-05-31

NEW — Empiric Reference

A new pocket-reference module joins MIC Lookup and ESC Guidelines on the home screen, surfacing empiric-coverage regimens published in widely-cited infectious-diseases practice guidelines (IDSA / ATS / NICE), grouped by clinical scenario.

v0.6 ships with 4 scenarios:
• Community-acquired pneumonia (IDSA / ATS 2019) — 4 settings (outpatient → ICU)
• Uncomplicated cystitis (IDSA 2011)
• Acute pyelonephritis (IDSA 2011) — incl. ESBL risk
• Non-purulent cellulitis (IDSA 2014) — up to suspected necrotizing

Each scenario page shows:
• Setting (outpatient / ward / ICU)
• First-line regimen — published dose, route, duration
• Alternatives
• Red flags from the guideline
• Typical organisms (tap → CLSI / EUCAST breakpoints)
• Tap any drug → antibiotic detail page
• Sticky NOT CLINICAL ADVICE — REFERENCE ONLY banner

Content reproduces guideline doses verbatim and is not adapted for any individual patient.

Updated first-launch disclaimer (v4) explicitly covers empiric-coverage tables. You will be re-prompted on first launch.

MIC Lookup, ESC Guidelines, bacterium / antibiotic taxonomy, and the new Empiric Reference all work without any account. Sign-in is still only required for the Activity Hours logbook.

More scenarios coming: HAP / VAP, meningitis, sepsis, intra-abdominal, febrile neutropenia.
