This app is terrible. It constantly deletes my favorites and then I have to uninstall, reinstall and set everything up again. When it works everything is fine, but that isn’t as often as I would like. I would appreciate it if you guys would finally fix the app. I have been dealing with it for almost 5 years now.

Utilisateur d’un iPhone 17 pro Max, en test sur Vivia VI960, autant je suis convaincu par leur qualité et capacité en tant qu’aide auditive dans la vie de tous les jours autant en streaming et conversation téléphonique c’est inaudible : pas de basses, effet de sibilance, impression de saturation sur certains graves, très désagréable .
J’ai déjà envoyé un mail à votre support, j’attends une réponse.
J’avais des phonak, je pense opter à nouveau pour cette marque. Dommage

It's confusing, inaccurate in some areas, and missing 90% of what it should have. It doesn’t even have a search function.

After reading other reviews, I can’t see how this app averages 4.7/5 stars!?

There are many negative reviews and comments, and many one star ratings.
I purchased the Resound brand because of compatibility with Cochlear.
I’ve used 2 other hearing aid apps with features not available on this one.
It’s not possible to change the volume and change programs through the hearing aid; only one or the other.
The colors are hard to see, especially while driving or in the sun, and it’s necessary to use the app while driving to make changes.
AND, you have to turn the Bluetooth off when you change from one device to another, for example: this can be connected to either my iPhone or iPad, not both.
And there is no option for directional focus-this was a valuable feature with my former brand.
During only 10 days of use, I’ve had to reinstall the app twice because of lost connection.

When I first got my hearing aids about 7-8 years ago I was really impressed with the level of control and functionality of the app. Lately though, every time I open the app it glitches out, then crashes or won’t let me change modes or activate speech clarity until I force close it, even if I just opened it. The volume control only works in separate mode until it crashes. Would be great if the updates were actual improvements.

I have been using the resound Vivia 7 hearing aids since October 25, and there are still plenty of bugs to work out. I’m not sure that the Smart 3D app has been updated since I purchased the hearing aids. 

I like the fit, but it might be worthwhile looking into the additional ear domes that are available from resound. 

Also, the sound enhancer features are mediocre at best. It’s a three band equalizer with no other options unless you’ve purchased the ridiculously expensive premium Vivia 9 or higher. I spent close to $6000 on these hearing aids. Don’t be surprised when insurance only covers about 1/3 of the price. The extra features on sound enhancer should be available to the user for all models. My Audiologist has tried tweaking them the best she could, but it is still limited. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate these hearing aids and the usability at about 6. Definitely shop around!

Never had problems with the app until today-I’m trying make volume/sound adjustments but it keeps going into reconnecting mode every 2 seconds, not long enough allow me to make sound adjustments.  Get this app fixed ASAP!!!

After this update I struggled to accept the updated license agreements and my Auracast started randomly disconnecting one of my hearing aids. It could be the left or the right.  No real rhyme or reason. I had my annual VA audiologist visit a few days ago and she upgraded my aids’ firmware. Now my Auracast won’t stay connected to either hearing aid for more than five minutes. The doc had to call support while I was there to create a new profile to get past the license acceptance screens. I’m using an iPhone 15 pro max with the iOS 26.5. Im not sure if it was this app update, the license updates or the firmware update or a combination of all three that caused the issue. The app, aids and Auracast worked flawlessly up until these updates.

The app should have the capability (along with an iPhone/Apple) to switch between different hearing aids and not completely wipe the app when you do. I have Nexia 960s and they work well, but had a malfunctioning one and needed a warranty fix. I have a back up set of Resound Ones and if I switch them out, the app gets wiped. There are settings server side that load, but any custom settings get wiped out. It would be very convenient to be able to use multiple sets without a full reset

While using the TV blaster with my hearing aids, I used to be able to adjust the volume on the hearing aids and it would work great. But lately when I do that it will adjust the volume on the left or the right but not both sides. This is a recent change and is very annoying. The app has always worked very well until this issue.

Update: DEVELOPERS, I BEG YOU, PLEEEEASE FIX THIS APP. It’s getting worse by the day! Now it’s 2 seconds delay (at least) to change the listening level or to change the program.  My hearing aid specialist can’t do anything about the app! I’ve worn Resound HAs for 20 years. Getting the settings right for this new pair (price $7000 !!) — has been nightmarish. The app isn’t working— it changes programs suddenly.. it drops one HA or the other … I see other reviews describing the problems better than I can… and developer responses that seemed cut and pasted canned responses: “We’re sorry. We’ll look into it.” The reviews are from months ago. Obviously no one “looked into it.”

With this latest update my hearing aids are not working.  I have tried deleting the app, restarting my iPhone 13 and reinstalling and connecting.  The app indicates my hearing aids are connected and working but I hear nothing.  When I take them out of case no beep. When I move slider bar in app no sound change.   This is very frustrating since I have only had them only a year.  Prior to this update they worked perfectly. Please send me a link or information on how to remedy this situation.

Congrats Resound. You’ve taken an app that occasionally would allow a user to seamlessly switch between an iPhone and an iPad and completely botched the transition between the two devices in this latest software update. 

Now the app is pretty much useless. Well done.

Trotz mehrfacher Versuche war es nicht mehr (wie früher) eine Fernanpassung über das iPhone durchzuführen. Es geht nur noch mit dem iPad, obwohl die App laut Beschreibung nicht dafür vorgesehen ist. 
Die Funktion Assist lässt sich auf dem iPhone einrichten. 
Dementsprechend eingeschränkt ist die Nutzung meines Hörgerätes wofür ich nur 3 Sterne vergeben kann. Laut Hörgeräteakustiker sind die Probleme auch bei anderen Kunden bekannt.

Interestingly, while the $3K ReSound are great for improved hearing, the $229 Apple AirPods Pro are technologically superior in other ways (music, noise volume protection, cellular phone calls). It honestly would be highly recommended that ReSound either partners with Apple or that Apple purchases ReSound.
