ResponsiBLUE is an app for University of Michigan students, faculty, and staff to help protect the entire U-M community and reduce the spread of COVID-19. The app includes a daily self-screening tool for community members to use before entering U-M buildings. The screening tool asks a series of questions based on CDC guidance related to COVID-19 symptoms and contact with others. Based on the responses, users will either see a green screen with a check mark, indicating they can enter a U-M building, or a red screen, indicating that they should stay home and take specific actions based on University guidelines. Screening results expire after 18 hours. I have to click on the least intuitive part of the screen to fill out my survey, and once it is done, use the “back” arrow to go back to the green check mark.
