I don’t see any kind of help function available through the app. Love the concept and really want to use it. ### 3/5 — Unreliable *2020-04-30, version 3.0.21* I gave it three stars due to the concept. I get to raise money while walking. However, I have to start and stop the recording of my walk several times before it will recognize that I’m walking. I missed logging a 2 mile walk one day because I didn’t realize it wasn’t recognizing that I was moving. Also, when it does actually record my walk, it consistently shorts me on mileage. ### 2/5 — Can’t login anymore... *2020-04-29, version 3.0.21* Really loved using this app on my morning walks with my dog until I accidentally logged out. Anytime I try to use the “forgot password” function, I get a message that there’s a server connection issue. Now I can’t get into my profile anymore. Disappointing to say the least. ### 3/5 — Not accurate total mileage for rescues *2020-02-03, version 3.0.21* I really love the concept of this app and the fact that it gives back and encourages both walking and rescuing but I don’t think the total calculations for each rescue are accurate. I’ve been using it for a couple months now and primarily log all my walks with one rescue but their totals per month and per year have not changed since I started. For instance, adding the activities from the activity log for January for Players for Pits I got 141 miles but last month totals listed is 103 miles and has been 103 miles since I started. So it doesn’t seem to be giving credit to the rescue for actual miles logged. A difference of pennies really but I likely won’t keep using it because of that. Disappointed. ### 2/5 — Hit and Miss *2019-12-17, version 3.0.21* I want to love this app but I can’t. It’s so hit and miss weather it will work or not. The new map is not that appealing either. I can’t even move the map to take a complete picture of my walk. I used to be able to do that. I take screenshots. I would make the map smaller and snap. This new map won’t let me move the map and snap a shot. Update: same issues happening with the map but now I see I can’t post to FB only Twitter. Well I don’t have Twitter. ### 4/5 — Weak on Weekly totals *2019-12-16, version 3.0.21* If I look at My Profile after my Sunday walks, I see a total that changes on Monday. Monday starts my week off with Sunday's milage, and Last Week shows the lower total from Saturday. ### 3/5 — Facebook keeps blocking! *2019-10-19, version 3.0.20* Regarding the walk results, Facebook keeps blocking my share posts all of a sudden. Marks it as spam or something. I’ve been using this app for years without issue until lately. What gives?! ### 4/5 — Was great, latest update broke it *2019-08-30, version 3.0.16* App was great, but latest update broke it for me. It crashes every time I try to open it. I can delete the app and try re installing it, but will probably lose all my data if I do. ### 2/5 — This last update is awful!! *2019-08-30, version 3.0.16* Since the update two days ago I can't get the app to open. I can see it in my open screens when I swipe but it’s not tracking anything. Very disappointed. ### 3/5 — Lots of issues now! *2018-10-10, version 3.0.14* Same thing happened to me getting logged out! Now I somehow have three accounts and it zapped my chosen rescue as well. I lost all my past pics and can’t get back into my account. I sent an email to Best Friends and they responded back with desire to help. Hopefully soon it will all be resolved. Also, I’ve noticed over time that the distance calculator is approximately .25 or so shorter than it should be. Not sure why this is but I run this app along with another and also on a known mile track and it’s always off. Frustrating! Otherwise I usually love this app! Love being able to donate to rescue of my choice! Love being able to share pics with my walk and look at other’s pics as well. That makes it fun! Just wish it was in better working order. ### 1/5 — Broken update *2018-06-04, version 3.0.10* I love the app... when it works. Now it is an endless cycle of trying and failing to log in. Please fix!!! Update: Over a month later and the app is still broken. This is sad for those who used to be regular users of the app. Please, please fix the login problem. ### 1/5 — Great idea, but *2018-06-02, version 3.0.10* I like using this app to measure just how far I walked with my dog. Stopped working recently, server connection problems. I’m on Verizon and everything should be working fine. Reviewed other reviewers and they are having similar problems. I’ll try to delete app and reinstall, but unlikely the app will function. A good app, which encourages exercising you and your pet. I carry my phone in a fanny pack and even though I consistently walk 2+ miles in the morning, it comes up as .17 or this morning .1/too short to track. Not sure how it’s supposed to work, but I would assume most people carry their phone in a pocket etc so this won’t work. ### 1/5 — Ugh *2020-10-24, version 3.0.24* I really want to participate in strut your mutt day to raise money but I can’t because everytime I try to create an account it said server connection error !! I have an iPad and iPhone and I tried on both and can’t do it with either one ! I'm thankful someone discovered an easy way for people to donate to the rescue of their choice (regardless if they're short on cash). I haven't had a problem with it severely draining my battery and in LA I haven't had issues with losing the connection. All mileage is logged using the gps and at the end of the week your total miles go to your selected shelters. The donation pool varies each week, but the money is split by total miles walked and the shelters are given the money according to the mileage value. Walkers can see personal weekly, monthly, and yearly walking totals.
