Yes, I had trouble trying to get it how I wanted it…and it took most of that time- but ‘the potential is there’ for the best sleep you’ve ever had & it being (I hoped) ‘the last mattress you’ll ever buy’. From 3-6 months it worked about 1/2 of the time. Of course like everyone else- you try to assume the issue lay within your Internet. Now, into year 3…I can’t remember the last time the bed “worked”…probably 2yrs ago. It would RANDOMLY out of nowhere start in/de-flating …and that was exciting because at least it was doing SOMETHING…and not ‘forever stuck’ on the most uncomfortable settings. It hasn’t even done ‘that’ in probably over 6 months. I used to try pushing the WiFi reset button on the pump, that worked a few times early on…but I later discovered that completely UNPLUGGING THE PUMP FOR AT LEAST A MINUTE, and re-connecting to the signal would prompt the bed/app to function again together…briefly. Now, that doesn’t even work. I’ve noticed the past 8mos or so? That the app isn’t ‘live’ anymore- the bed graphic shows nothing whatsoever- and the controls do NOTHING. So AGAIN, it’s a useless $6,000. Mattress. Soooo extremely disappointed. Reinstalling the ap, resetting everything, changing WiFi connection…etc…nothing helps. Early on I contacted customer service- but that went nowhere… it’s was too easy to blame the WiFi, internet connection, app, or device 🙄…and let customers go round n round with those things until the ware runs out😤 Super. Now I have an extremely uncomfortable bed that is actively hurting my back…and I paid dearly for it. ### 2/5 — I agree with the other review… connection rarely works, unit has to be unplugged to reset/connect. *2024-03-03* This bed was pretty great for about 6months…worked half of the time for the next 6mos… and then rarely ever thereafter…2yrs in; I can’t remember the last time I was able to actually control the bed & it kills my back being under inflated. Very very disappointed ### 1/5 — Work around option!!! *2023-09-03, version 2.11 (0)* The app is dead, and I think the company is out of business. BUT…I found out that you can download the GhostBed app, and it will work for your ReST bed! ### 1/5 — Out of business?? *2023-03-10, version 2.10 (1)* We have been trying to get in contact with Rest for months with no response. I think they are out of business. Our bed no longer connects to the app and there is no customer service. Very sad we made this purchase. ### 1/5 — App will drive you mad *2023-03-05* It might not be right away, but the will slowly d and surely drive you into madness. The usb is plugged in but the app says it isn’t. Now reset the bed and reconnect. Now it can’t connect to the WiFi. Now there is a firmware update so you have to restart you connection journey from the beginning. Now you got it all connected but the bed isn’t filling up as much as it should. Now you have to recalibrate again. I am, by all measures, a patient person. Yet I have whisper screamed “just be a bed!” through tears of frustration half a dozen times so far. ### 1/5 — Update resets app to factory *2023-03-02* Every time the app updates, you have to re-connect the bed and set everything back up from scratch. So, let’s say you get into bed, or it’s the middle of the night, and you need to adjust it, only to find they pushed out another update and now you can’t connect again. You have to crawl under your bed, reset everything, go back and forth with it not connecting, then set back up all your settings. That’s literally what I’m stuck doing right after this review. I would not buy this bed again as this company cannot sort though how to build a proper app. So incredibly frustrating as it happens every single time. I’d recommend people buy from another brand as this isn’t something you should have to deal with repeatedly. ### 1/5 — App never works *2022-12-29* Isn’t even worthy of a 1-star review. The app only ever worked when I first got the bed. Then it kept disconnecting from the wi-fi and now I can’t alter my bed while it’s been stuck on the most firm setting. I’ve tried to get a hold of Rest but nobody seems to work in their CS department. If you have recently bought the bed RETURN IT NOW BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE. If the app doesn’t work then the bed needs to come with a remote because this is unacceptable. ### 1/5 — SCAM!!!! Please listen to other reviews! *2022-11-19* DO NOT BUY!! As other reviewers stated, I wish I could give 0 stars. The technology is simply not as advertised. I was strung along and gaslit for months. Finally ended up returning (they only take back the pumps and pressure map insert, you have to dispose of the entire mattress yourself), was told the refund would take up to a month. It has been 3 months and they are not responsive via email. The only response I received, after reaching out several times for over 2 months stated “We are aware of your refund. The department in charge have your name listed and will process your refund when you are next in line. Be rest assured you will definitely get your money back accordingly.” The phone number does not go to a live person, it is just a recording that gives you their email address. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Forced to file in small claims court now just to get a simple refund which was desperately needed before the Holidays (especially after having to buy a different mattress)… Absolutely disgusting that ReST refuses to honor their own policies and timelines. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. Stay far away! ### 2/5 — Did I pay too much for junk? *2022-09-17, version 2.8 (0)* Would be nice if I could actually set up the bed to the app. Instead I click get started and the next screen is completely cut off from being able to connect. App inaccessible from iPhone se ### 1/5 — App cuts off at bottom of phone *2022-06-29, version 2.8 (0)* After finally getting the pumps to fill the bed, the app cuts off at the bottom. It won't scroll down so I can select the continue button and set up the app to use as a remote. I have restarted my phone and reinstalled the app several times. Please advise.
