I don’t have to option to even allow this to use Face ID I don’t under what’s going on with this app after the upgrade for more security. And I think it’s dumb on the website you can’t do contribution by bank transfer or direct debit. Only BPAY??? I don’t want to deal with BPAY even commsec doesn’t do bpay anymore ### 2/5 — New update breaks login *2026-06-03, version 5.1.0* I can’t even log in now, yep you’ve made it so secure I can’t use my member number or even an email or phone number to verify it’s me. NOT IMPRESSED! *Update* - now considering laving REST and joining a fund with a functioning app. C’mon REST - you KNOW there is an issue- FIX IT! The app was way better 3 years ago I could look at my super whenever I wanted to, now i have to go on their website just to log in! I got pushed into using my face scan about 6 months ago. I brushed it off. Now it’s pushing for device passkey. This thing already has my phone, my pin, my password, my face scanned. Like seriously how many more things does it need? It was functioning perfectly before, but now my membership number is suddenly being flagged as invalid. I reached out to customer support, and they confirmed it’s a known problem. Apparently, all they’re doing is logging complaints from users to highlight the scale of the issue to the developers, in hopes of getting it fixed. However, in the recent update the app has added a new passkey feature that intends to add more security to the platform. However, it’s mandatory and my phone is not accepting it. Hence, since this feature came out, I have been logged out of my app. I am not happy with this feature and I tried alternate methods to login. Nothing seems to work. ### 1/5 — Forced passkey implementation *2026-04-02, version 5.0.0* Not a fan of having to setup a passkey, I already practice good password / 2fa management. I don’t want to remember about which app I used on what device to login to a online service and if I don’t have access to a device with a passkey on it I won’t be able to login.
