### 5/5 — track it

*2011-11-09, version 5.2*

This has helped me so much, I use it all throughout the day. It's surprisingly effective and accurate. I can't live without it now. Totally worth the dollar. Could use an update: can't wait to see what they have to ad to it. Tracking water untake would be awesome like others are saying.

### 5/5 — Absolutely GREAT

*2011-11-08, version 5.2*

If you are serious about losing weight then GET THIS AP NOW! USE IT! I was shocked to see how much I was overeating throughout the day. This so keeps it real if you monitor exactly what you eat and how much. Have had the so a few days and am already seeing significant results!

### 5/5 — love it

*2011-11-05, version 5.2*

Great app. I have been using it for about two months to track food intake and have been loosing weight. Frequent updates with more foods. Will even give you a dailey budget to get you to your goal.

### 5/5 — good choice

*2011-11-05, version 5.2*

I am very happy with this app and would recommend it to anyone who wants to count calories as a way to control weight. It is easy to use and has a large database of store and restaurant foods. I have encountered no software bugs at all. Plus, I am actually losing weight, which is proof in itself. As a point of comparison, I extensively used "BalanceLog" on Palm/WinXP several years ago. this app has larger food database and is generally simpler while achieving essentially the same result. It is also much cheaper, ($3 vs. $40).

### 5/5 — very good

*2011-11-01, version 5.2*

Overall great app. Would like to see a notes feature for each day and more food items. Overall if you are on a low cal diet this is a really good app for keeping track of your progress. Good luck!

### 5/5 — nice

*2011-10-29, version 5.2*

Only three days in, but I like it. Keeping me on track like Weight Watchers, though not as many food choices. Still, simple to use and just keeping track is half the battle.

### 5/5 — solid app

*2011-10-01, version 5.0*

Lost 25 lbs in 10 weeks in part because this app provides a simple way to track caloric intake. The database and restaraunt listings could be improved but if you stick with favorite and previous items it is really quick and easy to use. Now I am tring to gain weight through strength training. I would love to see them add protein targets and bodybuilding targets for caloric ratios etc.

### 5/5 — must have...

*2011-09-30, version 5.0*

his app is great, it helps you make better food choices. It not only tracks your calories but also your total intake plus your weight, exercise, and it allows you to choose from real food! Even off of a menu from your favorite restaurant excellent!!

### 5/5 — better than thought

### 5/5 — Easy, affordable and feature rich.

*2011-08-20, version 5.0*

This is a remarkable tool for monitoring caloric intake and aiding in weight loss goals, and also for promoting healthy lifestyle changes. It only takes a few minutes each day to really know your balance of calories in versus calories out.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not Accurate

*2019-09-20, version 7.2*

Purchased to check calories at Wendy’s and when I got there none of the food calories on this AP were even close to what Wendy’s post on the board. I deleted the AP, fortunately it was only a buck.

### 3/5 — was better before the recent update!

*2009-10-12, version 0*

It's pretty imformative. Especially as a diabetic, it helps me to determine how many carbohydrates are in the food so i can calculate the right amount of insulin. But the Starbucks menu used to have all the different sizes and now it only has grande in it. I hope the programmers can go back to having all the sizes. That was one of the reasons I bought the App in the first place.

### 4/5 — Good but limited

*2019-07-31, version 7.2*

Great nutrition information for lots of restaurants, but lacking some major ones such as Cracker Barrel. Very useful app.

### 4/5 — support

*2011-11-18, version 5.2*

I am a total iPhone newbie & still foundthi to be an amazingly easy to use, wonderfully designed app. I highly suggest it to anyone lookin for an easy interface for keeping track of calories & other daily nutritional info. I do agree that they could use a better database. But honestly the other features & ease of use makes up for that!

### 4/5 — very nice

*2011-11-16, version 5.2*

Still using this app every day, for almost 10 months. It has indeed helped me keep on track. The only glitches I get are:
1.sometimes I get booted out if the app when I enter a food item, 2. Sometimes I get incorrect report when I do a date range.
Otherwise pleased & recommended.

### 4/5 — i am a loser! 15 lbs in 3 months

*2011-11-13, version 5.2*

I, too, am finding this app incredibly useful. The exercise of recording calories has made me accountable to myself. Someone wanted to add foods for previous days. You can already do that. Click the arrow next to TODAY on the top of the page, and it will take you back a day at a time.

### 4/5 — good!

*2011-11-05, version 5.2*

This app is super easy to use. Most importantly it is a non-invasive calorie tracking tool. I started using it two weeks ago and it has been easy to enter every meal, snack and beverage. Even if you do not have weight loss goals, just keeping track of the "quality" of food in your diet is something everyone should do for some amount of time. It would be a nice feature to access the data on my Mac or be able to add custom items, meals, restaurant menus through a PC/Mac application. Also, it would be helpful to screen out items that will never be part of my diet.

### 4/5 — cool

*2011-09-29, version 5.0*

This is a great app. I've lost a significant amount of weight pretty quickly just because of the clear feedback I'm getting; it's pretty black and white and I'm not able to do my fuzzy justifications any more. The numbers are where I want them or they aren't and I can't kid myself. I'm thinking about food and exercise in a different way and it's make a lot of difference. A couple of things to figure out to shorten the input time, but I'm really happy.

### 4/5 — realy easy to use

### 4/5 — flexible

*2011-05-27, version 4.0*

i love the flexiblity to go back to old log and update the error I made before. Some other app doesn't have such an option. This also applies to exercise log as well. I wish there is a quick way to customize food. with that I will make it 5 stars.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — excellent

*2012-01-23, version 5.2*

This is an excellent app. I am easily able to track and monitor everything. It was very easy to set up and I like that I can configure it to what I want to track.

### 5/5 — best

*2012-01-16, version 5.2*

I purchased about 5 different trackers to help with my diabetes. After trying them all, this app rose to the TOP within days! This App is the BEST of the bunch!!! The only change I would like to see is adding exercise without effecting my calorie reading. Give me the option of recording calories and exercise calories burned seperately.
I am now trying to get my money back on the rest 4. hope that will happen.

### 5/5 — star app

*2012-01-04, version 5.2*

I used this App to lose 16 lbs in 6 weeks. It allows you to monitor food consumption as well as quickly input calories burned from your workouts to give a quick, easy look at your daily progress.

### 5/5 — very good

*2012-01-02, version 5.2*

Anywhere I am, whatever I decide to eat...this app helps me to really understand how many calories are in the food choices I make everyday. Just when I thought that salad was healthy tap and track lets me know I would be ingesting 1200 calories....no thank you!!! Great app!!

### 5/5 — wow

*2011-12-26, version 5.2*

Very easy to use and a great way to keep track of what you eat. Makes you think twice before eating something that might not be a good choice.

### 5/5 — Definitely worth the price

*2011-12-22, version 5.2*

I just love this app. It takes into consideration how much cals you use during your daily activity and figures out how many cals you can eat from there.

My one very minor complaint is when I do a food search, if it isn't spelled exactly correct it says no matches found as opposed to offer a suggested food.

### 5/5 — recommended

*2011-11-24, version 5.2*

I have been using this app for about six months and have lost 30 pounds. It is user-friendly and is constantly improving. The developers are very receptive to suggestions. It may not always be easy to make the right choices, but an easy-to-use app like this certainly helps.

### 5/5 — comment

*2011-11-23, version 5.2*

I really enjoy having this program. It keeps me honest. I feel challenged by it and want to lose more. I have used it to help coworkers calculate the calorie they need to take to lose weight. They appreciate it very much. As for me, it is like a personal trainer, secretary, & my own dietician. I really love it.
Thank you,

### 5/5 — top score

*2011-11-22, version 5.2*

User-friendly, complete and useful way to record personal nutrition/exercise.
I use it all day, everyday.
Can't live without it now!
Recommend it as often as I can.

### 5/5 — useful

*2011-11-21, version 5.2*

I love this app.! It is very easy to use and has a good layout. Once you start useing this app. everyday, it really makes you think twice about how you're eating and what you can do to eat better/less calories. I love the way you can chose your own plan and enter personal stats about yourself and it automatically figures out how many calories you should be eating to lose how ever many lbs/week your plan had entered. I've been useing this app. for about 2 weeks now and I've lost almost 3 lbs. Of course I'm still learning to stay within my calorie budget but this app. really helps me keep track of EVERYTHING I need to, which helps me stay on track so far. Well good luck everyone! :)
