Called customer service they offer to remake or refund. I asked for refund as I wasn’t going to wait around for another hour (the have the slowest delivery). They were only willing to refund the entree not the $7 delivery which I think is ridiculous. The customer service rep Shauna came on the phone with a horrid attitude. The owner should really review her recorded phone calls. You’re in the customer service industry, attitudes in this positions help no one…. Left a poor taste in my mouth and will be leaving reviews elsewhere and disputing the remain charge with my bank. ### 1/5 — Disastrous interface *2023-01-20, version 1.6.3* Deleted my order before I was done TWICE! Would not accept 4 digit CVV for Amex. Never again will I use it. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2022-07-20, version 1.6.3* I would give it a zero star if I could. The order was placed and the status is updating. After I see the order is "on the way", suddenly the entire thing disappeared. My credit card is charged already. But no delivery. I couldn't find the order anywhere nor an order number. I called the rc person said they couldn't find anything either. worst experience and total wast of time. Awful time logging in, ordering, paying, on mobile on browser, and on the app. Would advise trying to mimic a company like Toast. Just wild that an app like this can’t be made to be better/easier. I’ll just call it in next time instead of this hassle. ### 1/5 — One of the worst apps ever! *2022-04-28, version 1.6.3* I have been trying to order pick up from one of our local restaurants for the last 45 minutes. As with all of us, we use these apps all the time. This one is beyond bad! It continues to ask for information that is already in there, and when I attempt to pay, it tells me that the pick up address is not correct! Keep in mind, the pick up address self populates for the restaurant I am ordering from. I redid it three times and then just gave up. I will either go to another restaurant or call. Why any restaurant would knowingly use these guys is beyond me. ### 1/5 — Horrible app. Use website *2022-04-24, version 1.6.3* This app doesn’t work. It never has. It crashes every time I try to pay. I’ve tried on iPhone 12 max pro and an iPhone 13 max pro. Tried uninstalling. Reinstalling. IT HAS NEVER WORKED! It is incredibly frustrating. Went to the website on my computer, ordered no problem. Do not waste your time with this app. You will load your cart go to pay and have to do it all over again like 3 times before you just give up. Save yourself and go to the website. If I could give 0 stars, I would as 1 star should be reserved for things that actually work, just very poorly. ### 1/5 — Terrible TERRIBLE Customer service *2022-03-05, version 1.6.3* This is the third order that has been messed up with restaurant connection. We ordered our meal at 6:20 and found out at 7:17 that the restaurant isn’t even open for delivery pick up tonight. You would think that it would be restaurant connection that let us know that the restaurant wasn’t available, but no - they waited until the poor driver went to go pick up the meal and was denied by the restaurant. It was only then that restaurant connection canceled everything. The driver won’t get paid or tipped by RC for their troubles and now it’s an hour later and we have to find a different meal option. Restuarant connection has done NOTHING to help our situation and the poor driver wasted all this time and energy and I’m sure restaurant connection will not be paying them. Any calls I made following up with previous orders that were delayed or no showed were pretty short. The woman who answers the phones has terrible customer service and is short. I AM DONE with Restuarant connection. ### 1/5 — Avoid at all costs *2022-03-05, version 1.6.3* Absolutely terrible service. We’ve tried to use this service multiple times, and several times we’ve had our ordered cancelled and voided right when it’s supposed to be picked up. When we order directly from the restaurants, the communication is much more clear and efficient. RC truly doesn’t seem to care if you place an order, wait an hour plus, and then have it voided. We tried to call them through the app and there was no answer. I loaded in an attempt to place a restaurant order, it took my details and never worked. Delete now! ### 1/5 — Worst costumer service *2021-04-24, version 1.6.1* They randomly change their delivery time, after putting in orders they call you and tell you it’s not going to happen. They charge $17 as a service fee and none of it goes to the driver. Today they forgot my main meal and their costumer service representative just said oh sorry do you still want it. I’m deleting this app and never using again ### 1/5 — Difficult to use *2021-03-09, version 1.6* I stopped trying to use the app and just phone in my order. Customer service was not helpful at all and told me to place another order and wait another HOUR AND A HALF. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. And they charged my credit card! For nothing! Scam! ### 1/5 — Disrespectful *2025-01-15, version 1.6.3* We ordered from a restaurant via Restaurant Connection. Not only did they charge a $18 delivery fee and $10 service fee. They (Ralph) had the audacity to call and ask us to tip the driver “so that we can deliver your food”. I always tip cash so that 100% of it can go to the person it is intended for. But since when is the possibility of a delivery contingent on the amount that is tipped? Terrible business practice.
