So that’s how it starts. The app is slow and heavy. It doesn’t show related products to what you’re searching. It shows random stuff that has similar sounding names but not similar products of the item searched. First of all, it’s incredibly slow; it takes forever just to load a simple page or search for items. Every time I open the app, it forces me to sign in again, which is really inconvenient, especially when I’m trying to place a quick order. To make things worse, the inventory is rarely up to date. Items will show as “in stock,” but when I get to the store, they’re nowhere to be found. This makes the app nearly useless for planning orders ahead. On top of all that, the user experience is poorly designed, making navigation confusing and clunky. I expected much better from a company like Restaurant Depot. The app itself just doesn’t work and not only severely limits sales, it ruins the brand overall. I go to restaurant depot in person once in a while but I would order way more if the app actually worked - seeing what I ordered, seeing what’s in stock, ordering for pick up or delivery - these will save me time and give you business. And of course I’m biased, but making a working app isn’t asking a lot. If you can’t build it internally, outsource it, but have a working app please before other distributors take all your business.
