## What is Restless?

Sometimes you’re tired but need to stay awake. May be you’re driving home at night after a party, may be you’re trying to study late in the night for your midterms or you just want to stay awake to see the end of that TV show …

For that, there’s Restless ! 

Restless will keep you awake by vibrating at regular interval and as soon as it feels that you’re getting asleep. The app uses your current heart rate to detect if you may be falling asleep and react immediately (based on your age and and your biological sex). Restless needs read-only access to your HealthKit data to provide these personalized functionalities.
The vibration pattern changes each time to avoid getting used to it.

Please give me my money back. This is not ready for prime time. Vibrations are too low. It doesn’t follow any logical pattern or even tries to assess sleep or patterns. It just based on some logic that definitely has no sleep alignment. Need a lot of fixing and make it true to the claims. Just a vibration maker. Didn’t keep me awake.

The problem is likely that the app is not authorized to access your heart rate. To authorize it your can either:
- launch the iPhone Restless app and it should prompt you to give access to your heart rate
- If you had already launched the iPhone app and declined to give access, you can go to the Health App > Sources > Restless and then toggle the heart monitoring authorization.

If none of these work, please contact me directly at restless@cubesoft.fr and I'll try to solve your problem.
