One thing I would recommend they add is font size and font style when adjusting your resume. I didn’t know how large my font was , I had to copy and paste my resume to word so I could know the exact font size. ### 2/5 — A little disappointed *2021-10-01, version 2.2.0* Very basic template with only one option for the free version. Could easily have done on MS Word if you had a laptop or desk top computer. It would be nice if they offered you to change the free template up a little. Give a few more options of free text designs. I got a new phone and transferred all my data to it. The resume builder app shows files for past resumes but when you open them they’re blank. I’m so angry. I took so much to input all that info, so to say get to waste hours and hours redoing it. And I’m especially angry they’d do this after paying so much. Shame on these developers. ### 1/5 — Really? SOOOO ANNOYED ### 1/5 — Just a badly designed word processor *2021-11-07, version 2.2.0* The first thing you’ll do is fight with entering your name and address due to the large blank spot for a picture that COVERS THE TEXT SO YOU CAN’T SEE WHAT YOU ARE TYPING or have typed. Want to get that blank spot out of the way, or edit the text? It just sends you to the “pay to upgrade” screen, as does if you try doing anything else. Other than typing in the most basic information. Which you can’t do anything with unless you upgrade. It even makes it difficult to copy and paste the info to somewhere else after you realize you wasted your time entering all this info into a clunky and obnoxious word processor. I’ll just use a pen and paper before i’d pay for this. ### 1/5 — Crashes *2021-06-29, version 2.1.0* I built a beautiful resume, exported it, and now every time I try and edit it in the app it crashes. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I guess my only path forward is to recreate it. ### 1/5 — Phishing SCAM *2021-01-26, version 2.1.0* This not a proper resume builds or app, DO NOT DOWNLOAD ### 1/5 — Mail function doesn’t even work properly *2019-09-25* I spent a lot of time on a basic résumé and once I completed it and tried to mail it to myself I never received it. I verified it was not in my spam folder. It just never arrived. Thank goodness I didn’t rely on this app for sending it to any prospective employers. They would likely have not gotten it and I may not have even known. The layout on the free templates is garbage. It looked like it was going to be half way decent but then when I went to view and mail it to myself I see that it crams a bunch of your data onto a single line even though it should NOT be. I’ll go back to using a template from Word or Pages. Deleting this crap app right away. ### 2/5 — Disappointed! *2022-02-24, version 2.2.0* I purchased this app to create my résumé which I did two years ago I’ve now got more jobs to add to my résumé however when you add a new job it puts in at the bottom instead of at the top. A résumé is supposed to be from your most recent job onward but once I add a new job to the list of experiences it puts the new jobs at the bottom, very disappointed at this point! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Professional Clean Templates *2025-11-09, version 2.2.0* This is an easy to use app with professional results. I used it several years ago when there were fewer options out there and had forgotten the name of this app. I used a highly recommended paid app and became quickly frustrated with it as all of their templates were busy and cluttered looking. I then remembered Resume Builder and immediately found multiple clean options to work with. And it’s free !!!
