Even a month out, with availability still showing, you have to cancel and rebook just to change the number of guests. Booking and cancelling a restaurant on this app incurs a $50 fee where booking same restaurant in other apps & cancelling has no fees. Also, $50 is agreed prior to booking for Resy but you are not aware the restaurants are allowed to charge you as well. A restaurant charged me $100 cancellation fee because i agreed with Resy and Resy charged their $50 agreement. AWFUL APP PROFILE FUNCTION AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!! My work email changed and tried to make a reservation on Resy. I can’t update my profile because everything, even entering your own cellphone number, in confirming login in or updates revolves around the email a person can no longer access if they leave a company. I already called the restaurant and made my reservation. I told them the problem on Resy and they said it is a common complaint and they are considering a change because they also saw that it is nearly impossible to find a support link via the app; and support email is buried in the website. I do not understand why you cannot contact support via the app; it makes zero sense and very frustrating. If you are a restaurant, I would reconsider using this service.
