## What is Reta?

Reta is a private manual-brewing studio for coffee, espresso, matcha, and tea. Its method-aware workspace keeps one important value in focus while preserving the relationship between ingredients, temperature, time, and technique.

Choose a method and Reta adapts the workspace:

• Pour-over: tune coffee, water, ratio, and total brew time
• Espresso: balance dose, yield, ratio, and extraction time
• Matcha: control powder, water, temperature, sifting, and whisking
• Tea: control leaves, water, temperature, steeping, and pouring

Changing one value recalculates the related recipe and phase targets, so every step stays internally consistent. During preparation, a focused timer keeps the current phase, instruction, progress, and next action readable at a glance. Completed sessions save automatically to your journal.

Create recipes for any supported method, customise every guided phase, and share or import compact Reta recipe files without an account or server. Optional daily reminders are scheduled locally.

Reta works fully offline. There is no account, subscription, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Your recipes, journal, and reminder schedule stay on your device. The interface supports English and Arabic, including right-to-left layout.
