I have to rewrite everything and once I have to rewrite my notes, it’s not as accurate of that session as I’m going based off of memory. Delaying my present day session because I have to refill everything out for previous ones has become a weekly struggle. ### 1/5 — It’s a HORRIBLE APP *2022-06-17, version 6.10.1* Let me just say, the app is completely horrible. It’ll load slow. My appointments won’t show on the app. Clocking in and clocking out will be delayed and verifications will be delayed because the app will start to mess up and act as if there’s no current appointment. It’s a horrible app and I hope they do something about it soon. ### 1/5 — The worst app aver… Not worth even a one star *2022-06-15, version 6.10.1* I hate RethinkBH and the fact I have to use it in my work… Doesn’t update or refresh on time and absolutely horrible… plus total dependence on supervisors… as a tech you can’t do nothing.. ### 1/5 — Terrible updates *2021-12-29, version 6.7.0* Please stop making it so that we have to check every target we want to take data on!!! Just keep it so that all the targets appear automatically. Its a huge waste of time to fetch every target before we can take data on it. Sessions are already chaotic enough I don’t understand why there are updates that try to slow us down. ### 1/5 — Needs work *2021-11-08, version 6.5.0* App needs a lot of working ### 2/5 — New update is stupid! *2021-11-02, version 6.5.0* Only having one target selected when I open a kid’s programs is so frustrating!! I have to manually go in and select all of my targets every. Freaking. Session. That’s up to 3 times a day I have to do this! It eats away at my therapy time and attention to my kids. Such a dumb update. ### 1/5 — Barely works, constant reinstalling *2021-08-26, version 6.4.5* It’s alright when it works; the data collection is pretty nice, but I have to do pretty much everything else through an internet browser. My biggest issue is that whenever I log out or leave the app for an extended period of time, it states my session has expired and leads me to a completely blank screen. The only way I’ve been able to fix it is to uninstall the app and re-install it to get the login screen. I’ve had to reinstall it before every session, and at this point it’s more trouble than it’s worth. ### 1/5 — Buggy and lacks content *2021-07-16, version 6.4.4* App fails to connect to TheraWe. Just asks for a password over and over and does nothing. It also lacks a lot of the content available on the website. Not sure why I would ever use the app as it is. ### 1/5 — App Hasn’t Worked in forever! *2020-08-24, version 6.2.2* Keep getting messages about “exciting new app updates”, but the app hasn’t worked in months for anyone at my company. Still saying no appointments when I click on the calendar. ### 2/5 — Verifications & Notes *2020-08-06, version 6.2.0* This app continues to have multiple issues and because of that I’m continuously not getting paid for multiple hours of work since the company I work for goes off of rethink as a reliable method to calculate hours worked and hours paid. The company I work for should be able to reliably use this app but unfortunately the only think that’s actually reliable is the website. This is extremely frustrating both from both an HR position as well as a behavioral therapist. ### 2/5 — Not allowing me to verify or find appointment *2020-08-05, version 6.2.0* The new update screwed my whole life now. I can’t even verify says I don't have permission, can’t find the appointment on the client I just put on the calendar, and I can’t send my data I took for the client it says no appointment so it gets erased. Please fix this before this keeps happening right now it’s been 2 days and it’s not fun trying to figure out how to fix this!!!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — AWFUL! *2026-05-11, version 25.2.5* So many glitches! So many times my appointments will say they are verified and have synced, yet they do not reflect. I can’t even login on my phone or the browser, but it lets me in only on the app through the iPad. Make it make sense! This app was clearly prematurely rolled out with SO MANY technical errors! Would NEVER recommend ANY ABA company use this app! Ever! ### 1/5 — Glitchy, slow, problematic *2026-04-12, version 25.2.5* Rethink is a problematic app and data management software. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s slow, labor intensive and time consuming for the BCBAs. It’s expensive, snd requires significant additional resources and manpower from the administrators. Rethink is frustrating to use, it’s redundant and disorganized. There are so many better platforms to use, there’s never a good reason to go with the most problematic and least efficient one out there. ### 1/5 — ABA nightmare *2025-10-30, version 25.2.5* This app is very frustrating and bogus. There should be a team working to develop this app into what it should be. This app will delete your sessions note and have your company reaching out for you to write an another session note based off a session from 2 weeks ago. Verification and Syncs are so iffy, this app is such a nightmare. The 1 star is because it’s easier to track data on the app versus the website. ### 1/5 — Need improvement *2025-09-28, version 25.2.5* Sometimes when the clients change or reschedule the time, it doesn’t sync over to the app. No matter how many times I logged out or uninstalled, it doesn’t help. ### 1/5 — Do better *2025-04-28, version 25.2.1* It’s 2025, the app works like it was made 10 years ago. It’s easier & convenient to take data on the app but it barely works. Love the job but the app truly makes it hard somedays. It needs a huge update immediately ### 1/5 — Landscape mode not available *2024-09-02* This desperately needs to be updated so that it works in landscape mode when using an IPad. I’m mad that my $200 Magic Keyboard is useless in this app because it won’t turn into landscape mode. We tried getting help and they said to just use the computer - which does work. It login u back out saying someone has logged into your account. Pls fix this how we take our data for clients. Their is always issues. It slows and isn’t fast at all ### 1/5 — By far the worst app to use in ABA *2022-12-19, version 6.14.0* I've been in this field for a long time. I've come across almost every data collection too you can think of from catalyst to central reach to biptrack. However, this is by far the worst app to use. It constantly freezes, rarely updates with correct information, you can't get paid reliably from this app because it's almost never correct. Catalyst was the best! This is horrible! ### 1/5 — Worst app on my phone *2022-12-19, version 6.14.0* This app works correctly about 25% of the time which is a major problem considering I need it for work. Won’t load, won’t sync, can’t verify, crashes, errors left in right. This is not helpful while taking duration data or simply for running a session in general. Also, there are many issues with the organization of the app. It is not ADHD friendly (in my case) to have to scroll up and down trying to find what programs I did or did not run yet.
