But it has something that I despise. Adds that take over the entire screen. If I did need this till retirement. I’d have uninstalled it the first time it happened. Small unintrusive ads. Try those. At first 5 years seems so far away. In that first year I believed I just looked at the app a few times. But as retirement drew closer, I found myself looking at the app frequently. Years became months, months then became days. I had to add “hours” & “minutes” to the countdown. This evening, I was with my ladies group and showed them the countdown to my husband’s retirement. Every day I’d receive an uplifting quote and could tap on the hourglass and get days remaining. After a few weeks I tap on the hourglass and get nothing but game apps that are for sale with no way to get out of them unless you listen to their annoying sounds and let it end.
