## What is Retro Combat?

Retro Combat is the ultimate first person shooter for the casual gamer. No logins or rankings — Just open the game and play online.

You can also play with up to a hundred computers and simulate a battlefield with tanks, machine guns, and airplanes!

[10 New Maps]

Each map has different features, and some have tanks, static machine guns, and airplanes. Play intense matches on small maps or drive vehicles around in the desert!

[25+ Weapons]

Weapons range from assault rifles, shotguns, snipers, submachine guns, and pistols that fall into three modes: full auto, semi auto, and three-round bursts. Weapons also can have attachments like a red dot sight, ACOG scope, or a suppressor. Skins like desert and snow camouflage are also available.

[Online Multiplayer]

Press play and join a server like it’s 2008! Play on any server you want with strangers or friends in team deathmatch, free for all, and survival mode.

[Survival Mode]

Tired of finding targets? In survival mode, you fight against endless waves of computers, by yourself or with friends!

[Single Player]

On an airplane? No problem, play with up to 100 computers in any map! The AI can also drive tanks and airplanes.

There is this really popular game called RavenField on steam and it’s exactly like this game, a blue team and a red team fighting against each other, using vehicles and large amounts of bots, it even has the same leaning mechanic, go play Raven Field instead of this completely obvious knock off!

It’s great I remember being 13 years old and playing this while it was newer and a bit worse but the new class system and much more weapons. The only thing it lacks is people to play with ( at least in Australia) there are no servers and it feels a bit lonely. But the game is great

This game pays tribute to many classics but still stays unique. Some game modes, maps and weapons are inspired by some of the best classic shooters but the game manages stay unique. Everything is awesome about this game but I’m just wondering what the deal with online is. That’s all but single player survival is a master piece!keep up the good work indie war games🪖🦺🔫

Huge update! After years of stalling, I’ve re-made the entire game from scratch, and it’s a lot better than the previous versions.


Here’s the key features you’ll probably like:

- Working multiplayer: The networking code has been completely re-written using much more reliable technology, and yes — you can actually play competitive games with your friends now!
- Maps: All of them are new. No more boring and empty maps!
- Animations: Yes! I learned to make animations! Now there are actually different types of weapons like bolt-action snipers, pump-action shotguns, and the three-round burst M16A4.
- Better AI: Bots now path find towards enemies and responds to sounds! Be careful — they may be much harder to beat.
- New game modes: Besides team deathmatch, there are now free for all and survival modes. Team up with your friends and beat the juggernauts when you find them in survival mode!
- Class customization: Set up your classes before the game starts and change your gear mid game!
- Cosmetics: Your weapons can look cool now! There are numerous weapon skins you can get including camouflage and many other patterns.
