But results are too random. No matter what team, what formation, strength of opposition. Nothing is taking into account, the results are pure luck. I went an entire season as Chelsea without a single win. At the end it said I could pay to go to next season so that had me questioning the intent of the developers. Real shame tho as it looks and feels great with a real nod to great players. The fact it works without WiFi and is fun to pass time with makes it a favourite of mine. ### 2/5 — Unrealistic beyond belief *2025-09-20, version 1.83.8* So, I’ve got a midfield of Giresse, Platini, Votava and Souness with Stapleton and Rush up front and somehow Everton manage to go 2 nil up and have Gidman sent off after 5 minutes and McMahon injured after 10. I can then only manage to draw the match 2-2, and at home. Then somehow I get outdone by Birmingham with their midfield of Curbishley and Ainscow against my star studded internationals!? 🥴 The amount of times I must have “chance missed” in a game is unbelievable. The realism in the game is a complete joke. It’s such a shame as it could be brilliant. Worst part? ADVERTS! The length of adverts is annoying to the point of wanting to smash your phone up! Otherwise it’s pretty fun and easy to play. Only wish some more Spanish league options in the super depor era! ### 2/5 — Match dynamics too unrealistic *2025-07-25, version 1.83.7* This started as an enjoyable game, but over time the game dynamics become extremely frustrating. I have just quit a season with Burnley where my team is probably one of the 6 strongest in the league, judging on the rating comparisons in each match. However, I was sitting in 14th in my first season and unable to beat any half decent opposition. For example, in home matches my team was usually DEF 89, MID 89, ATT 89, and I would consistently be losing 1-0 or drawing 1-1 against DEF 67, MID 70, ATT 90 opposition. I’m not expecting to win every game, and I understand that I will occasionally have surprise losses against weaker teams, but the consistency of this suggests issues with the match dynamics. I suspect that I may be being penalised for choosing not to watch the adverts. I’m not opposed to watching the adverts, I just wanted a more realistic experience where I don’t gain £1million every time I watch an advert, and prefer building a stronger squad while having to manage the budget I’ve been given. Since the last update, you can’t read player stats for many clubs because the background is black, but the stats are very dark blue. So you can’t see player values, stats, and other important info. The game makers actually need to play the game and they’ll see the problem straight away. I didn’t mind the odd video or 10 second advert. But two 30 second videos or an add where your forced to play the ad game to close the advert after and then the picture adverts in the middle of your team management page. It’s gone beyond a joke. ### 1/5 — Peccato *2023-08-29, version 1.76.0* Bel gioco, bella l’idea sopratutto per i nostalgici. Il problema è che il gioco è pieno di problemi. Il più grande di tutti è che con una squadra piena di gente con valutazione 90+ riesci comunque a perdere anche 6/7 partita di fila contro squadre molto più scarse. Alcuni campionati hanno giocatori con prezzi e stipendi improponibili ed e quasi impossible fare una squadra. In più se si cerca di vendere un giocatore e si preme indietro questi avrà l’umore a terra e non si potrà vendere fino alla partita dopo. Leider ist die Oberfläche peinlich schwach designed, die Übersetzungen sind auch alle völlig falsch. Damit könnte man aber noch leben, wenn die Ergebnisse nicht gänzlich willkürlich waren. Obwohl die ganze Mannschaft mit 95+ bewertet ist, gewinne ich nicht einmal die Hälfte der Spiele. Da frustriert alle paar Sekunden die Werbung noch wesentlich mehr.
