### 2/5 — A waste of money and time. Is this app abandoned?

*2026-08-19, version 1.4.1*

This used to be a reliable app for collectors, but over the past year it has completely fallen apart. It now takes months, if it happens at all, for new games to be added and market values to be updated. Why am I paying a subscription fee if I have to do all the heavy lifting and manually enter everything myself? A game released this past May should easily be in the database by now as we approach September! Instead, you are left doing the work for an app you pay for. Worse yet, for the games that are actually listed, the box arts and pricing data are routinely wrong. Don’t even get me started on the amiibo database that is at least over a year out of date..Has the dev team completely abandoned this project? It is an absolute shame, and paying customers deserve some honest answers about what is going on here..

### 3/5 — Abandoned?

*2026-07-20, version 1.4.1*

This app appears to have been abandoned sometime over the last 90 days. No new games updates, three emails to support without reply. New physical games are not being updated. Love it for the collection, but failing to keep new releases online from Amiibo to home consoles is letting my collection fall out of date. Not sure if it’s going away or not but that would be a bummer. Beware if you download this and invest hours into adding your collection.

### 2/5 — No retro update

*2026-02-14*

No retro update since a long time, no response to messages ! It would be the best app of that kind if so

### 2/5 — Still supported ?

*2025-10-25*

Is the site still supported or not ? It has been 4 months without an update.
I need to know if I should keep paying for a subscription that delivers something real !?

### 2/5 — Great app, poor support

*2025-09-02, version 1.4.1*

The app is easy to use, and has a pretty robust database, but the support has truly gone downhill. When I send messages regarding new games to add, or correct, I’m getting ignored. Atari has returned with new releases twice a year, and the folks at PureGaming.org are not adding them, even after I point them out. The Atari 8-bit and TI99/4A databases have issues, and my requests to correct have been ignored. For what I’ve paid, these requests should be taken seriously. One nice feature is that I can add games to the app myself, but the app does not retrieve the values for user added games, which is why these guys need to be on top of this.

### 3/5 — Decent App. The new paywall is absurd.

*2025-08-10, version 1.4.1*

I’ve used this app for years. They charged a fee per platform, which I payed. With the new platforms you can no longer buy them a la carte. Instead they want a subscription or a one time fee for everything even the dozens of platforms I’ve already purchased. Changing the fee structure this late in the game seems a tad greedy. Otherwise the app works pretty well.

### 3/5 — PS2 / ps3 Japanese locked behind paywall

*2024-11-23, version 1.3.28*

I love this app. But I’m not happy with the ps2 and ps3 Japanese lists behind a $79 paywall. I want to be able to purchase what I want. And I do not want to subscribe monthly either.

### 2/5 — I don't see the point tbh.

*2024-05-08, version 1.3.23*

I'm gonna make this short and simple. I don't know what's the point of this when you can't even play any of the games. All you can do is view game images and see a collection of old games. I searched up "game emulators" on the app store and for some reason this popped up.

### 2/5 — Consoles only

*2023-08-29, version 1.3.15*

Good in principal but console only. I’d use the app if it had Commodore 64 and Amiga.

### 3/5 — How do I use the games

*2023-08-08, version 1.3.14*

This is cool but how do I play the games?

### 4/5 — Good software. Prices are a bit too high for my tastes.

*2023-05-14, version 1.3.6*

Just what the title says. Software looks pretty, but the subscription fees are too much and outright purchasing it can cost as much as a AAA console game, ironically. I'm on the fence.

### 4/5 — Pricing and items

*2023-04-12, version 1.3.3*

Some pricing is off comparing to PriceCharting.com. Also, some items are missing from the library.

### 4/5 — Pretty good tool.

*2023-03-22, version 1.3.3*

Overall I like it, and support response is great.
The interface is not intuitive in some areas but once you work it out, it works pretty well. Take the prices as a guide and hit the ebay button and check sold items once there to get a better picture. But it does ok for the most part.
Makes it way easier when out game hunting to avoid doubling up.
Easy to add and report missing items.

### 4/5 — Amazing collection resource

*2023-03-03, version 1.3.1*

A bit pricey…

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Game values no longer update

*2026-06-01, version 1.4.1*

I have an incredibly large collection that spans across many different platforms. At one time this app would update the game values. But no matter how many times I refresh, the games values stay the same. This issue has been like this for several weeks now! Please FIX THIS!

### 1/5 — THEY ERASED MY ENTIRE COLLECTION!

*2025-01-27, version 1.3.30*

I spent months adding all of my games to my collection on the app and everything was fine, great, but today I logged in and everything is just gone. They completely wiped my account, every game, every bit of detail I painstakingly added is erased. DO NOT USE THIS APP IF YOU CARE AT ALL ABOUT PRESERVING ALL THE EFFORT IT TAKES TO DOCUMENT YOUR COLLECTION!!! THEY WILL WIPE IT ALL WITH NO NOTICE OR REASON!

### 1/5 — Disappointment

*2024-09-12, version 1.3.27*

I wanted to backtrack and put in my collection, but it kept saying I could say I collect one console for free and I had to pay for everything else. And, I selected Switch only for me to log Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and then it said I hadn’t made a collection and kept showing me deals of eBay! As if I’m going to buy a game I SAID I ALREADY HAD with 2 other average switch games for over $500. What a disappointment.

### 1/5 — Bad App

*2024-07-17, version 1.3.26*

I couldn’t play a Game

### 1/5 — Бесполезно

*2024-04-09*

Бесполезно, всё платно.

### 1/5 — No ZX Spectrum

*2024-04-01, version 1.3.23*

Where is the greatest computer ever.
I need to log my ZX spectrum games

### 1/5 — Que é isso

*2024-01-20*

Isso é paga pra jogar é melhor baixar outros emuladores online que é gratuito

### 1/5 — Pointless

*2023-09-02, version 1.3.16*

As someone with at least 100 discs id rather just look through my collection than pay a fee to see that i own them in a stupid app

### 1/5 — Удалили мои покупки

*2022-12-31*

Внутри приложения купил разблокировку консоли xbox. Все было хорошо, но после обновления покупка удалилась и не восстанавливается. По сути это обман потребителя и мошеничество!

**Developer response:** Hi, we replied to your e-mail with a solution. Let me know if you continue to have issues.

### 1/5 — Horrible UI and a Keyboard Bug Renders it Useless

*2022-12-22, version 1.2.58*

This app is not worth your time. As someone who works in QA, the UI is incredibly convoluted and not intuitive. This would not pass the muster of legitimate developers. There is also bug where the iPhone’s keyboard stays open and you cannot close it. You have to close and restart the app. Use the app “GAMEEYE” instead.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Lohnt sich

*2024-05-19*

Auf jeden fall sein Geld wert. Keine Ahnung warum hier immer alle so weinen müssen wenn sie ein paar Euro ausgeben müssen?!?
Diese app hat es in sich, hat alles was man braucht in einer app !!

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2024-05-17, version 1.3.24*

Honestly one of the best apps I've used! My only suggestion is to improve the UI a bit because sometimes it seems a bit counterintuitive. It's by no means a deal breaker and I've gotten used to it for the most part, but figured I'd throw it out there. Subscription price is also extremely reasonable.

Thanks for the lovely app!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-01-20, version 1.3.21*

I’ve used it for years to keep track of my Sega genesis games. It’s the best on the market and well worth the money.

### 5/5 — Fantastic App!

*2023-08-14, version 1.3.14*

I’ve been using this app for my collection the past couple years. Having built an app myself I appreciate the craftsmanship and simplicity. I have no doubt this app will be acquired in the future.

### 5/5 — Best game collecting app on the App Store

*2023-07-22, version 1.3.12*

Almost every console you can imagine, complete list of games released along with current values and rarity makes this the best video game collection app out there. If you have a collection, big or small, this is a must.

### 5/5 — ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*2023-04-29, version 1.3.5*

This app is absolutely amazing. I love its interface. My favorite part is that you can actually add custom games if they don’t have it in their library with your own custom images. The app overall still has some extensive work to do when it comes to graded games; I know this is still new to the contemporary market. Overall, the app has amazing features and interface usage; never glitches out and also has a great catalog for any game that you want to fin. This is better than pricecharting Game prices, but it is really competitive when it comes to pricing I’m not sure what their algorithm is when it comes to pricing but it does use eBay as a friendly user interface widget. Thank you so much for developing this.

### 5/5 — Overall happy (one gripe) UPDATED

*2023-03-17, version 1.3.2*

I’ve found this app very useful for cataloging my games and overall would 100% recommend it. My only gripe is that they didn’t include the light pen (one of only 2 accessories released for the vectrex) in the vectrex accessories. I’ve got one and would like to be able to catalog it. Very minor thing but other than that no issues. Happy to see the new update adding tiger lcd games.

Update: I’ve upped it to 5 stars seeing as the developers not only responded to my comment on the light pen but actually proceeded to add it to the catalog. Happy to finally be able to add it and would like to thank the developers for actually noticing my comment.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2022-11-16, version 1.2.56*

I have 3 different apps for tracking my games, and I have defaulted to just using this one. It’s simple to use, and is great for tracking all of your game collections. I started out with just needing something for my NES games, and after a while, I started using it for all of my video games and consoles. Don’t let any negative reviews dissuade you, they are mostly from people who either can’t read, or too dumb to understand that this is not an app for playing the games… I look forward to future updates, especially for Apple Watch. Highly recommend this app for collectors.

### 5/5 — This is the One to Use

*2022-11-03, version 1.2.56*

I tried several web and smartphone apps to house the retro inventory and this was the winner. It’s is easy to use and immediately accessible UI wise. It also has the largest library - I have some obscure titles and when I entered them in other apps they were not found and I was directed to go to the web and add them to open source lists myself. When I added this app, they were immediately found, artwork and all. The only ones missing were 8-bit computing titles but I was able to manually add them in the app. The ‘value’ it applied to each entry seemed spot on as well. The summary stats were a nice surprise. Overall, I highly recommend this app.

### 5/5 — Very excellent except for one thing

*2022-10-18, version 1.2.55*

When I go to update the app in the App Store the description for recent changes could be broken up by version instead of clumped together. It makes it difficult to know what is actually new.
