## What is Retro Game Guides?

Retro Game Guides turns classic plain-text walkthroughs into a readable, searchable, offline iPhone library.

Old TXT guides are useful, but they were not built for phone screens. Retro Game Guides gives them a reader made for long walkthroughs: reflow old guide text for comfortable reading, switch back to the classic fixed-width layout when maps or tables need their original spacing, and keep your place as you read.

Build a local guide library organized by game. Import TXT files from Files, save supported online guide pages for private offline reading, and keep multiple walkthroughs, FAQs, maps, and notes under the right game.

When a guide gets long, jump straight to what you need. Search inside a guide with snippets and line numbers, use contents built from guide headings, save your own custom sections, and return to recent jumps while you play.

Features:

• Reflow, wrap, and classic no-wrap reading layouts
• Font size, text style, and reader theme controls
• Search inside guides with useful result context
• Automatically built contents from guide headings and patterns
• Custom sections for bosses, routes, items, checklists, and notes
• Reading progress saved per guide
• Favorites, recents, platform filters, and library search
• Import one or more TXT guides from Files
• Preview folder imports before adding them to your library
• Duplicate checks for imported guides
• Save clean text copies from supported online guide pages for offline reading

Your library stays on your iPhone. Retro Game Guides does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not track you. Saved guides, reading progress, favorites, and custom sections are stored locally on device.

Start free with up to 3 games in your library. A one-time purchase unlocks unlimited games. Each game can hold multiple guides.

Retro Game Guides is not affiliated with GameFAQs, GameSpot, Fandom, or any guide-hosting website. Saved guides are for personal offline reading and remain subject to the source site’s terms and the guide author’s rights.
