Needs predictive key. No good for typing out texts or emails. Always pressing the same button to get what letter you need. I know it says old school but come on this is new times now no one wants the old school keyboard if it had a t9 mode it would be perfect. Not going to spend time practising typing the old way.

I repeat does not have predictive text. Bought this thinking since it was a t9 keyboard that it would be automatic, it's not. Do not buy this app if your trying to relive the good ol' days of texting on the razor one handed like a maniac.  Otherwise a good looking setup looks just like the iPhone theme so that was a small hollow victory for me.

Nine key keyboard, works as expected. Only four stars, though, because it doesn't have keyboard sounds (yes, that matters to me) and has no predictive text, but I don't really care about that. Would've been better as a free app, but 99¢ isn't bad.

I am new ish to iPhone and needed the old alphanumeric keyboard style, that's why I downloaded this app, so far so good, I miss the spellcheck tho. Also, if you read the privacy policy first you'll see that you don't need to to allow full access to use the app and the app doesn't collect personal data from your phone and what you type which was a concert for me. I also like that you can switch back to the QWERTY keyboard very easily if needs be.

Nice and simple design for all 1st generation mobile-users like me; highly accurate in all "shaky" surroundings!

However, few things are rather awkward, so here are my recommendations:
— swap the keyboard key and the caps key positions (so when quickly cycling through keyboards, the place will remain approximately same)
— special characters are pain, better would be to add a second key-layout and to swap between them by long-press of some key (be it space or keyboard key for example)
— for emoji, separated key layout would be also nice (accessible through 1 for example; although I do not use emoji much)
— caps would be nice if immediately reflected on keys (so one can recognize caps on/off right away with the first look a/A)
— additional language support would be nice, although not necessary (specific key cycle after numbers? best if this might be selectable per language, or on/off)
— and add more hints on this keyboard use :-)

I downloaded this app with a coworker to relive our teen years of how we texted, and my scene won’t show the whole keyboard on the iPhone X. Only got numbers 1-6. So much for reminicing. 😜
Side note: the coworker is having a great time as hers works perfectly.
