My two humble requests for the product team: - The ability to turn off the “This Week in…” feature — I prefer to use this app to capture what’s happening currently. I have other apps for looking back & I just end up dismissing this feature constantly. I’d really love to be able to just disable this part of my week view entirely. - Liking a photo in my friend’s feed also auto-advances the slides, and I’d like these two actions to be decoupled, as they are in the comments. The design is great, and it feels much more personal than a regular photo gallery. One feature I would absolutely love is the ability to search photos using face recognition or people recognition. When an album gets really big, it can be very time-consuming to scroll through thousands of photos just to find pictures of one specific person. Being able to search by person would make finding memories so much easier and would improve the app a lot. Overall, Retro is an amazing app, and this feature would make it even better. There’s no reason it should take over a week to respond to an email, especially when it comes to customer support. I really want back into my account. ### 1/5 — Retro *2026-03-22* I really like how easy it is to organize all my photos in this app. Everything is laid out in a way that makes it simple to find what I’m looking for without wasting time scrolling forever. The organization features are definitely one of its strongest points, and they make managing a large number of photos feel much more convenient. However, there are some frustrating issues that take away from the experience. When I try to upload a lot of photos at once, it takes a very long time to process, which can be really inconvenient. It makes something that should be quick feel slow and annoying. Another big problem is that when I go back to view my photos, they often don’t load properly. Sometimes I can’t see them at all, which defeats the whole purpose of uploading them in the first place. This makes the app feel unreliable at times.
