Graphics are excellent, the new crossings, extra players, extra features and cars are all great. The only thing I need to point out is that for someone used to play the previous game this one presents no challenge at all. I paid for the full version but within a couple of hours I was able to win all the races with the weakest car. The difficulty and progression needs to be tuned a bit more carefully as this was particularly disappointing for me. It’s my favorite right now and I spend a lot of time playing it. I have noticed a few things that I want to put out for consideration, however, which I think lessen the experience and development of skill within the game, and cheapen the competition between real players in the race to set record times. First of all, the power ups are an atrocious obstacle. Their random spawning and the miscalculation on the speed boosts specifically results in endless frustrations as control of the car is suddenly wrenched away by an unavoidable power-up. There is clearly a strategic, competitive, fun game to be played with the power ups, but I suggest there be options for players to remove power-ups from their races since, while some may accept them as they are, others like myself see a clear benefit to a purer type of gameplay. Secondly, and equally important, the automated racing opponents on maps are an absolute headache. They are far too slow, far too stupid, and far too many for the maps. Once again I must say they clearly present an interesting challenge and aspect to the game and the gameplay, but there must either be an option to remove them in order to pursue competitive, fair results when racing for a personal best time, or there must be a major overhaul of the programming for the npc cars in order to better scale them against real racers. As the game is now, skill and investment is rewarded with pointless frustration and inevitable disappointment. Hopefully something can be done. It wouldn’t have to be much. Just to give people an idea of what I mean when I say the game is nearly unplayable the way it is, despite being HIGHLY enjoyable to play thanks to MANY amazing elements, if I’m trying to get a new high score on a circuit now that I’ve unlocked all the cars and have some experience it takes me about 20 (not exaggerating) attempts to even be able to finish a race without completely blowing my time because of either a) an unavoidable collision with another car or b) suddenly flying into some obstacle because I accidentally picked up a speed boost. This has nothing to do with cones or oil or snow or corners or anything else that makes sense for the game and presents a serious challenge to players. There are ISSUES that prevent players from even beginning to challenge themselves, making the game an absolute letdown to anyone good at it. You need to be insanely calm inside to make it through ruined race after ruined race in order to finally get an opportunity to really play the game. ### 1/5 — No content - it’s not worth your money *2024-11-14* I can’t believe I spent 6€ on this. There are max 15 levels that are extremely easy. I got 3 stars in all of them, almost instantly and I barely have enough money to buy one car. This clearly indicates that the game doesn’t care about natural progression or about making things exciting for its users. It gets boring after 5 min. Some updates I’d like to see are 1. more tracks (I was able to finish all tracks 1st place in about 2 hours) 2. PLEASE ADD a custom track maker/generator if you don’t want to add more tracks so I can make more tracks myself 3. Also add like a guide so I can know how much the power ups are helping me and the difference between the different cars like what’s anti-wobble or whatever it is. 4.
