## What is Retro Recorder?

Stop typing. Start speaking.
RetroRecord is a speech-to-text app powered by an on-device AI engine — no internet required, nothing uploaded to the cloud. Every word you speak stays on your device, giving you faster transcription and true privacy.
- Real-Time Transcription
Words appear on screen as you speak. Capture meeting notes, quick ideas, or voice memos the moment they happen.
- Smart Multilingual Recognition
Supports English, Franch, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, German, Chinese, Japanese and many other languages, including code-switching mid-sentence. The AI automatically detects language changes, so cross-language conversations flow naturally.
- Edit, Copy, and Share with Ease
Fine-tune your transcript with manual corrections, copy the text in one tap, or share the original audio recording — keep both the words and the voice.
- Professional Recording Controls
* Switch freely between recording devices (built-in mic, external mic, Bluetooth headset, etc.)
* Choose from multiple recording quality settings
* Smart noise reduction for clearer voice capture
* Echo cancellation for calls and meeting scenarios
- A Recording Interface That's Actually Fun to Look At
No more boring static waveforms — dynamic, real-time sound visuals turn recording into something you actually enjoy watching.
Whether it's meeting minutes, interview notes, quick ideas, or daily voice memos, RetroRecord is the fast, accurate, beautifully designed assistant in your pocket — and everything stays yours, on your device.
