## What is Retro Tape?

Your videos, back on tape.

Retro Tape turns the videos already in your Photo Library into home movies. It sorts them into tapes by year, lines them up on a shelf, and plays them on a 90s TV/VCR with a real VHS look: tracking wobble, color bleed, tape noise and the date burned into the corner.

Pick a year, slide the tape into the VCR and press play. Clips from that year play one after another, oldest first, the way they would on a tape you recorded yourself.

PLAY IT LIKE A TAPE
• A tape for every year, plus one for videos without a date
• Rewind and fast-forward through a clip at 2×, 4×, 8× and 16×, with the picture scrubbing like a real deck
• Shuffle, pause and eject from a remote that keeps the TV in view
• Watch fullscreen, or flip to Original to compare with the clean video at the same moment
• VCR sounds and haptics on every key, with switches to turn them off

CHOOSE YOUR LOOK
• Light: a gentle, clean tape
• Classic: the tape you remember
• Worn: more grain, color bleed and tracking glitches
• Show or hide the date stamp while you watch

MAKE YOUR OWN TAPES
• Build custom tapes from any videos you choose, in any order: a trip, a birthday, a year of firsts
• Each custom tape gets a cover made from one of its videos
• Light and Dark rooms that follow your iPhone, or pick one yourself

RETRO TAPE PRO
Keep the look. Make it yours.
• Export clips with the VHS look and date stamp, saved to Photos or shared anywhere
• Seven nostalgic objects to decorate your shelf
• Your own photo in a frame on the shelf
• Your photos on custom tape covers

YOUR VIDEOS STAY YOURS
Retro Tape applies the effect on your iPhone. Your originals stay untouched in Photos, and you can share your whole library or just the videos you pick. There are no ads and no account to create. Videos stored in iCloud are downloaded through Photos when you play them.

Retro Tape Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings.
