## What is Return to Monkey Island?

Return to Monkey Island is an unexpected, thrilling return of series creator Ron Gilbert that continues the story of the legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

It’s been many years since Guybrush Threepwood was last locked in a battle of wits with his nemesis, the zombie pirate LeChuck. His true love, Elaine Marley, has turned her focus away from governing and Guybrush himself is adrift and unfulfilled, having never found the Secret of Monkey Island. Hip, young pirate leaders led by Captain Madison have shuffled the old guard from power, Melee Island has taken a turn for the worse, and famed businessman Stan has been imprisoned for ‘marketing-related crimes’.

Banter with old friends and new faces on familiar islands now under dangerous new leadership. Then, take to the high seas and explore the new and unknown as you work your way out of tough predicaments. Grew up with these games. The art style took a lil bit getting mused to but every game has its own art style and I ended up enjoying the game from start to finish.  Definitely feels like it could of used more a climatic duel of some kind with the boss man, like usual, but it didn't stop for playing the game for a second time :) good stuff!

Brilliant game, absolutely throughly enjoyed it. I really hope they bring back the special edition remasters of Secret of Monkey Island 1 & 2 on IOS. I really enjoyed those too and am sad they’re not on the App Store anymore despite me buying them. This new game was brilliant and I enjoyed it just as much as the first two.. more games please!

This was my first time playing Monkey Island on a mobile app. The experience was seamless, and I didn’t experience any glitches during the run through. The game itself was well paced and the hint book was a nice fall back option. It was fun to interact with both old and new characters. Thank you to the developers for making a nostalgic game!
