### 2/5 — traduction

*2026-08-17*

quand une application en français ?

### 4/5 — Was tv, got tired of it.

*2026-08-04, version 7.43*

Haven’t watched tv in 3 months. Reuters gets to the point of news. A lot of news is within 2-3 hours. My uncle was Army. Not political. Eisenhower wanted a “bullet”
to hit another “bullet” midair.
Uncle “Van” being a mathematical genius, was the primary person for the advancement of our Smart weapons today, as well as the new ship laser. I would have loved to see a few clips of him on tv or news.
I’m very proud of our country and the personel enlisted and veterans. It’s just Awesome ! Everette 8:4:26

### 3/5 — Anonymous

*2026-07-31, version 7.43*

When it comes to Canadian Politics, Reuters tend to have left wing writers. It’s unfortunate.

### 2/5 — A hot mess of a UI

*2026-07-26, version 7.43*

I’m SO disappointed in this app. Bought an entire YEAR of subscription only to find a thin list of topics and an interface that is SO CONFUSING it’s not worth even messing with! You’re introduced to a video, only to listen to a min or so, before being interrupted with a “listen to the full article” link that goes to a completely different article and then never actually plays the rest of what you were originally viewing. Why!? 🙇🏻‍♂️

### 3/5 — Annoying “Verifying Device” pop up

*2026-07-25, version 7.43*

A recent update has introduced a full-page “Verifying device” pop-up. It’s only up for a few seconds, but it’s distracting and incredibly annoying. If you need to verify the subscription, that’s fine… but do it in the background! It’s a non-interactive page that doesn’t need to be shown to the user unless there is actually a subscription issue.

### 2/5 — Subscription contains ads

*2026-07-25, version 7.43*

Wish there was an ad-free subscription option. Ads and subscription feels gross, like contaminants in your news source causing bias. But app itself is simple easy access news stories. multiple length videos to recap the news depending on free time.

### 1/5 — Crashes on iOS 16.7.16

*2026-07-24*

Please fix it.

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry to hear you're running into crashes. Please email me at dan.v@tr.com with your device model and a few more details about what happens, and I'll look into it for you

### 3/5 — Chill…it’s me

*2026-07-21, version 7.42*

Love Reuters nonpoliticized news coverage, but the app has been driving me crazy with requests to sign in, etc.

### 2/5 — Getting more American-like every day.

*2026-07-16, version 7.42*

Getting more American-like every day.

More gossipy, More pro-Israel, more pro-war.

And more entertainment news/fluff.

:)

### 1/5 — Globalist Liberal home

*2026-07-16, version 7.42*

Fair & Good reportage frequently

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2026-07-08, version 7.41*

Latested updates keeps to showing a "verifying device" in the middle of reading articles. Really annoying and makes reading impossible. Whats need to verify a device to read a news article ? Wont be renewing my subscription.

### 1/5 — Don’t subscribe, you still get multiple ads!

*2026-07-08, version 7.41*

I took out a subscription so that I wouldn’t be inundated with advertising. Well I now get more ads than before I subscribed!
I now get more ads than news.
Reuters ad free subscription is a scam.
There are plenty of news apps that don’t choke you with ads!

### 2/5 — Too many restricted articles

*2026-07-07*

Didn’t expect “the source” to be so closed off

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your feedback. A selection of Reuters articles is free to read, while others require a subscription to help support our independent journalism. If you have any further comments, feel free to email me at dan.v@tr.com

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — They used to be a great independent news source but are now just a mouthpiece for the US & Israel.

*2026-08-18, version 7.44.1*

They used to be a great independent news source but now just a mouthpiece for the US & Israel.

### 1/5 — can you talk about anything else besides the iran war

*2026-08-18, version 7.44.1*

i mean seriously

### 1/5 — They sold your data to ICE

*2026-08-14, version 7.44.1*

I’ve used Reuters as a reliable news source. Unfortunately I had to delete this app due to hearing the news that Thompson Reuters signed a $125M deal to give ICE access to its databases of personal data. I can’t support media that is complicit with this police state.

### 1/5 — Selling out to ICE

*2026-08-14, version 7.44.1*

Reuters has always had pretty fair reporting, but I’m deleting my subscription on the account of Thomson being bought out by ICE. Corporate greed + data for the Gestapo = goodbye.

### 1/5 — Selling data to ICE

*2026-08-14, version 7.44.1*

I am thoroughly disgusted that the owner of Reuters has signed a deal to give ICE access to their databases. I’m uninstalling the app and will never use the site again.

### 1/5 — Used to be free

*2026-08-04, version 7.43*

Now they want me to pay $4 a month to read news. App deleted. Thanks for ruining a good thing.

### 1/5 — Expensive

*2026-08-02, version 7.43*

You have to pay to read the most basic news stories… I see Reuters has responded with pointless info confirming my review. It should be noted that the AP app provides better quality and is *always* free to use.

### 1/5 — Greed ruined this app

*2026-07-31, version 7.43*

Intrusive paywalls on every story. This used to me my favourite app, now, I switched to AP News.

### 1/5 — Text Size Too Small

*2026-07-31, version 7.43*

Allow me to make the text size larger. The titles of the articles are huge but the actual body of the article is still so small and it’s maddening.

### 1/5 — Unable to log in

*2026-07-31, version 7.43*

Apple login isn’t working, ads for paid tier.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Daily dose of cultural

*2026-08-15, version 7.44.1*

I trust Reuter’s well written journalism.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-08-14, version 7.44.1*

Reuters bullet point delivery of news is exactly what I need, when I need it.

### 5/5 — La Source qualifiée

*2026-08-11*

Vous la source référence de l’information mondiale !

### 5/5 — Balanced and insightful

*2026-08-07, version 7.44.1*

Reuters is a refreshing change from ideology-based new sites like Fox and MSNBC. I find the articles offer intelligent analysis and a reasonably objective perspective.

### 5/5 — Crashes on iOS 16.7.16 fixed

*2026-08-06*

Version 7.44.1 fixed the crash. Thanks!
