**Developer response:** Thanks for flagging this. We identified an issue where images were generating successfully but failing to download to your device. This has now been fixed, no app update needed, everything is working again. ### 1/5 — FORMAL COMPLAINT — Paid Pro Subscription Completely Unusable

*2026-08-16*

I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding your Pro subscription service, which I purchased just now for approximately $20.

Despite making the payment, I am completely unable to use the image editing/generation functionality that I paid for. Every single attempt results in the following error:

“Generation failed — Failed to download image (HTTP 403)”

I have attached a screenshot clearly showing the error.

This is unacceptable.

I did not purchase a Pro subscription to repeatedly encounter an error message. I paid for access to the features advertised as part of your paid service, and those features are currently not being provided to me at all.

Quite frankly, this experience is extremely concerning. Taking payment for a service while the core functionality is inaccessible gives the impression that customers are being charged for a product that is not functioning as advertised. I expect Reve AI to take this complaint seriously.

I am not interested in receiving a generic response asking me to “try again,” clear my cache, reinstall an app, or perform basic troubleshooting. I have already paid for your service, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the service being sold is functional.

I therefore require one of the following immediately:

1. Restore full access to the Pro features I have paid for and confirm that the issue has been resolved; OR

2. If you are unable to provide the service, issue a FULL REFUND of the subscription payment without delay.

I also expect a clear explanation of why I am receiving an HTTP 403 error after purchasing a Pro subscription and why the paid functionality is unavailable.

Please treat this as a formal billing and service complaint. I expect a prompt response from someone who can actually resolve the issue, rather than an automated or generic support message.

I am extremely dissatisfied and deeply disappointed with this experience. Paying approximately $20 for a Pro subscription only to find that I cannot use the fundamental features is simply not acceptable.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to pursue the appropriate refund/payment dispute channels and formally document my experience with the service.

I expect this to be addressed urgently.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback, and we're sorry for the frustrating start. The HTTP 403 error was a issue on our side affecting image downloads - generation was working, and your Pro access was never restricted. The bug has since been fixed, and our support team has already processed your full refund. You can also access all your generations anytime on the web: just log in with the same account at app.reve.com and select your "Reve Cam" project under Projects -> Switch Projects-> Reve Cam. We'd love to have you give Reve another try.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-08-10*

Don’t download! Saw a reel saying this app can edit your pics so i downloaded it But after installing, nothing happened It’s just a paid app asking for your login ID Feels like they only want to increase downloads Don’t waste your time Stay away from these fake influencers

### 1/5 — Does not edit like a pro

*2026-08-09*

ChatGPT is better don’t need to install this app and it also asks to create an account and take email, name access

### 1/5 — Bakwas too slow

*2026-08-09*

Too slow bakwas always retry

### 2/5 — Good idea bad execution

*2026-08-05*

The ideal is cool, instead of ChatGPT type edits, you just shoot a photo and it does the job itself except it doesn’t work, takes 60 seconds to generate an extremely mediocre image, while Instagram does better in 3 seconds. I was a very early Reve user (2 years ago IIRC?) and it was a nice image model, but this doesn’t do it justice.

### 3/5 — It’s good but it takes so much time to generate the final results

*2026-08-17*

Takes so much time to generate the final result

### 4/5 — Impressing

*2026-08-20*

Seriously impressed by its capabilities, specially considering it is a free-under-the-radar app. Final photos are usually clean and high quality, no matter the instructions.

I knocked down a star because for me it is not clear the privacy considerations for photo processing, and it seems to be a lot of tracking and identifiers going on, which is a compromise on some apps of this kind, which it is okay if you are fully aware of what you are sharing.

Also, I’d love if the final picture downloaded back to the gallery after edition would retain the original EXIF data, particularly location, date and time for organization in the native photos app.

Other than that, great app and I am very happy to gave stumbled upon it.
