## What is Reveal the Dream?

Choose a photo of something you are working toward. The place you are saving for. The trail you
want to finish. Someone you are doing it for.

Reveal the Dream covers that photo with a frosted layer, divided into one piece for every day of
the journey you choose. Every day you show up, one more piece lifts away.

Not a number climbing. Not a calendar of squares. The thing itself, arriving.

NOTHING RESETS

Most goals are not lost to one bad day. They are lost to striving for perfection.

So there is no streak to break here, and nothing to start over. Miss a day and that day's piece
simply stays covered, sitting there in the middle of the picture as a record rather than a
punishment. Every piece you already earned stays exactly where it is, and the next day carries on
as normal.

Say you are four days into a seven day journey and day three got away from you. Day three stays
covered. Day four opens as usual. Three days are still ahead of you. The only thing being tracked
is whether you came back and kept going.

And if you got it wrong, Day Review lets you go back and correct any day.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Pick a photo from your own library, and how long you are giving yourself.
2. Check in on the days you do the thing.
3. Watch it come into focus, one piece at a time, until the picture is whole.

That is the whole app. No account, no sign up, no login.

LIKE A VISION BOARD, EXCEPT IT ANSWERS BACK

A vision board works because a picture of what you want sits where you will actually see it,
unchanged whether you did the work or not.

This one responds. Every check-in reveals a little more, so a glance tells you the truth about how
the last few weeks have actually gone.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN, AND ON YOUR WRIST

The widget is the point. Add it once and your goal sits there, half revealed, where you already
look a hundred times a day. No opening an app to remember what you decided. It is simply there,
a little clearer than yesterday.

The watch puts it closer still. Raise your wrist and the same reveal is there, filled in as far
as you have earned. There is a complication too, for when you only want a quick look. Check in
from your watch and the photo uncovers everywhere at once.

FOUR WAYS TO UNCOVER

Petals opens like a fan turning around the center. Rings works from the outside in. Arcs sweeps
around in bands. Geo breaks the photo into organic cells that surface in no order you can predict.

The same photo over thirty days feels genuinely different in each one.

HOW MUCH SHOWS FROM DAY ONE IS UP TO YOU

Cover strength decides how hidden the photo starts. At the default a little shows through;
turn it up and day one is a complete mystery. Revealed pieces are always fully visible at
every setting.

Seven cover colors, so the frosted layer suits the photo rather than fighting it.

ANY GOAL THAT COMES DOWN TO SHOWING UP

Ten thousand steps a day. Ten dollars toward a trip. Twenty minutes of a new language. No alcohol.
Meditate each morning. Train for a 10K. If it comes down to doing one thing daily, it works here.

FREE

One journey at a time, 7 or 30 day lengths, the Petals reveal style, the home screen widget, and
the Apple Watch app and complication.

PREMIUM

Several journeys at once, custom lengths so a journey matches the timeline your goal actually
needs, seven cover colors, and the Rings, Arcs and Geo reveal styles. Premium also lets you keep
whatever cover strength, color and style you have chosen.

Your finished photos as a gallery. Per-journey results: revealed, missed, longest run,
completion rate, and the weekday you miss most. And export a finished reveal as an image.

Move all three and watch them change your own photo before you pay.

YOUR PHOTO STAYS YOURS

There is no account and no sign-up. Your photos and your journeys live on your device and are never uploaded to us. Delete the app and your data goes with it.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.9 — 2026-08-24

Rest days are here. If you train five days a week, or write on weekdays only, you can now tell your
journey which days you check in. Days you take off are not missed days: nothing is expected, nothing
is uncovered, and your reveal simply waits. Rest days are part of Premium.

Your widget now shows the day count and today's status again. It was drawing the photograph on its
own, with the text missing.

The cover no longer gets heavier as a journey gets longer. A 90 day journey now hides as much of
your photo on day one as a 7 day journey does.

The Geo reveal style has been retired. Journeys using it now use Petals.

### 1.4.8 — 2026-08-22

A new look.

The reveal screen now gives the whole window to your photograph. The row of buttons under it is gone. Your goal is set in a serif that reads like a title, one clear button carries the day, and everything else waits in a menu until you want it.

Text size is now yours to choose, in Settings, and it carries through to the widgets.

The journey name is easier to tap. It used to need a hit on the text itself.

Settings is one calm surface with a type scale that leads the eye, and the whole app now uses a single accent color rather than three.

The widgets have lost their status chips, so more of the photo shows.

On Apple Watch, the check in button now matches the app.

### 1.4.5 — 2026-08-18

Text size is now yours to set. Settings has five sizes, and they apply to the app and to your widgets. It sits on top of the text size in your iPhone's own settings, so if you have already made text bigger there, this makes it bigger again. Free for everyone.

The journey name is much easier to tap. Its target used to be barely taller than the words themselves, so a tap slightly above or below simply did nothing. Reported by people who kept having to aim at the letters.

New Your Devices screen. See everywhere you are signed in, and sign a device out.

### 1.4.4 — 2026-08-15

The screen that offered a copy-and-paste code is gone. Your subscription now travels between your iPhone, Mac and PC through an email address you add yourself, and nothing is shown that you have to keep somewhere safe.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-14

No release notes.
