## What is Reverie?

Reverie is for the vicarious reader, with library management for the books you already own. Audiobooks, EPUBs, and comics live in one library that follows you across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Your files stay in your iCloud Drive, and there are no accounts or subscriptions.

LISTEN
- A full-screen player with a big cover, chapters, and per-book or global playback speed
- Sleep timer with presets or end-of-chapter, on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
- Smart resume: a small rewind when you come back, so you never lose the thread
- Bookmarks with notes and on-device transcription of the moment you saved
- Chapter summaries written on your device with Apple Intelligence, so a book you left for a month comes back to you
- A listening log for when you lose your place in the book
- Siri and Shortcuts: "play my book", restart a chapter, change speed, start a sleep timer, or ask what's playing
- Animated covers: bring any cover to life with a gentle loop
- Book information, series information and see whats next in the series.

READ
- A paginated EPUB reader with smooth page turns
- Light, sepia, dark, and OLED themes, plus custom ones, with a choice of typefaces, sizes, and spacing
- Highlights and bookmarks with editable notes
- Read aloud, with the text following along as it speaks
- Save any web page as an EPUB to read later
- A comic reader for CBZ, CBR, and PDF, with covers pulled from the first page and your place remembered

ORGANISE
- Search, filter, and group by author, series, or narrator
- Edit titles, authors, series, and cover art
- Auto-Organise tidies your files by kind, author, and series
- Remove downloads to free up space without losing your progress
- Covers and metadata stay available offline

SEE YOUR PROGRESS
- Reading and listening stats across every format
- Goals, weekly summaries, and a Year in Review
- Series progress cards that show how many books and hours you have left
- Widgets for Continue Listening and your goal

MADE FOR THE MAC TOO
A native Mac app, not a blown-up iPad one. It has a sidebar library, multiple reader windows, a menu-bar player, drag-and-drop import from Finder, and arrow-key and trackpad page turns.

**PRIVATE BY DESIGN**
Your library, progress, and bookmarks sync through your own iCloud. Summaries and transcription run on your device. There's no tracking and no ads.
