I’ve already bought the revibe watch. The vibrating algorithm is good for my 12 yo, but at $100 it is not well made. I’d much rather give him an Apple Watch and have it vibrate. When can we see this functionality? ### 4/5 — Revibe is a godsend! Don’t hesitate getting one for your child *2019-11-14, version 1.7.9* I was an early adopter - my daughter started with their basic model a couple of years ago but this school year we upgraded to the new model with the app and I am so glad we did. It’s given her the independence she needed in 5th grade - with text reminders during the day she needs way fewer prompts from the teacher and is becoming so much better at organization. The daily stats from the app helps keep track of her performance. The customer webinars are terrific - I joined a live chat and the Revibe team was so accommodating and took time to answer all our questions. Looking forward to new scheduling features on the way. PS - the NYC DOE assistive technology team is being trained on it and are writing it into our IEP which is huge! Keep up the great work Revibe!! ### 3/5 — Great concept functional problems. *2019-11-13, version 1.7.9* Great concept, but functionality problematic. Vibration notifications do not provide enough time for user to respond. Watch face sensitivity does not work consistently. ### 3/5 — Keeps crashing! *2019-10-28, version 1.7.8* I’m almost to the end of the setup wizard and every time I open the app it crashes!! I cannot finish setting up my child’s Revibe. I had no problems with the app until here recently. I purchased my first one in January of this year and the app worked perfectly until now. Please fix this bug so it will stop crashing and my child can actually use this device! Edit: Even version .3 crashes every time I open it. I cannot sync it to the watch it if it won’t stay open longer than 1 second. Please fix this bug. I have reinstalled the app and everything but it’s still not working. Edit it’s October 1st and this app still crashes every time I try to open it Edit it’s October 28th and the app still crashes. If I turn Bluetooth off it doesn’t but then as soon as I turn on Bluetooth and then try to sync it crashes. I don’t really care about a notification button, I just want this app to work like it did last year. **Developer response:** Please update to version 1.7.9. We found and corrected the issue that was causing the app to crash for some users, so it should be working well for you now with the update! Please reach out to our customer support team if it is still crashing. ### 2/5 — Inaccurate tracking *2019-10-23, version 1.7.6* Had to tell my 8 year old that he was on track and doing great but that the sync and tracking we're broken and not relevant bc they don't register (even when I wore for a day) ### 2/5 — Keeps crashing *2019-10-19, version 1.7.6* So if you turn off Bluetooth, you can open the app. But to sync the app to your device, you must turn Bluetooth back on. As soon as you do and hit sync, the app crashes again. Please, please fix this. The device itself is very helpful when you are able to use it. But it takes about 50 tries for it to sync. **Developer response:** Please update to version 1.7.9 or later. Is there another fix coming? We had the watch and the app since the end of August 2019 and the app is continuously having issues. **Developer response:** Please update to version 1.7.9 or later. How can I help my son if it crashes and won’t open? I am trying to open the app so I can make changes to my kid’s watch and it just shuts down as soon as it opens. Expensive but I thought it was worth it. After 3 months, teachers didn’t notice a difference, text messages didn’t vibrate enough to get attention— they need to require tapping to dismiss them, the battery life is short, the syncing takes too long, but most importantly it didn’t lead to more on task behavior. ### 1/5 — Keeps crashing just got it *2019-10-27, version 1.7.8* I’m trying to set it up and the app won’t stay open. I have 4 Apple devices from iPhones and iPad, every single time I run this app on any devices, the app crashes. They need to update their app to work with the latest iOS. Also, my son’s watch can’t keep the correct time as if it resets to midnight, January 1st. several times a week, but it never ran out of battery power. I programmed it to buzz during school hours, because of the time change, this product is useless. Don’t hold your breath as I’ve been having this issue for past 4 months and they keep promising a fix via App update. Classic Revibe watch was soooooo much better. Avoid at all cost until this issue is fixed once and for all. I can’t sync my sons watch, so the time is off and it’s absolutely useless to him. While I love the company and the product, when it works, I’m have a hard time with the cost of the device and the cost of the subscription, if it doesn’t work. The user interface is confusing. Has anyone actually used the product that is not a programmer? Beyond frustrating and no one responds to help requests. How am I supposed to keep track of what’s happened throughout the day while the child is wearing it if I can’t even pair the watch anymore!?! I still have gotten no reply to my questions. My sons like the watch and steps taken part. The part that are important might as well be useless since I can’t get help on the sync issues. Don’t by this paperweight. Find something with true tech support. It is providing opportunities that medication doesn’t provide and my child doesn’t walk around like a drone all day. Each day we learn more and more and it’s getting better. We have yet to tap into each and every resource, but we’re just two weeks into the school year and the information is off the charts. The app is easy to use and the revibe itself is ingenious. The two together provides helpful insights and help the person wearing it to modify their own behavior while providing helpful insights to build upon for improvements and overall knowledge. It’s definitely a game changer and you won’t be disappointed! I also have to say that the few interactions that we’ve had with customer service has been excellent and very responsive. They are also very open to listening to any ideas for improvement. We moved at the end of the school year and I lost them. I found them a few weeks ago and have been using them again. I really like what they do but I don’t need the figet data for my kid at this point and I really don’t need it for me. When we used it in the beginning it had a quick sync option. It is now gone and it takes for ever to download.
