## What is ReviseBites?

ReviseBites is a revision app for UK GCSE and A-Level students. Every lesson is short, ends in something you have to do, and is written against a real exam board specification.

WHAT IS IN IT

2,297 lessons. 1,481 at GCSE, 816 at A-Level.

Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Business, History, English and Computer Science.

WJEC and AQA at GCSE. WJEC at A-Level. History, English and Computer Science are WJEC.

HOW A LESSON WORKS

Read the bite. A few hundred words on one idea, not a chapter.

Then answer. Every lesson ends in an interactive board rather than a page of multiple choice.

EIGHT WAYS TO ANSWER

Choose the statement that holds.
Sort items into the right groups.
Predict what happens next.
Put the steps into order.
Trace a path through a process.
Adjust a value and see the effect.
Estimate to the right order of magnitude.
Annotate a passage and mark what earns credit.

The board follows the thing being learnt. A sequence gets put in order. A graph gets adjusted. A definition gets judged. A process gets traced.

COMING BACK AT THE RIGHT TIME

ReviseBites records which specification points you have met and brings the shaky ones back. The questions return because returning to them then is useful, not to keep a counter alive.

BUILT FOR WJEC FIRST

Most revision apps cover AQA and treat WJEC as an afterthought. More than half of this library is WJEC. If you sit WJEC, this app was written with your specification open.

WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL

Lessons you have opened stay on the device, so revision works on a bus, in a corridor or on a train with no bars.

NO ADVERTS

There are no adverts anywhere in the app, on the free tier or the paid one.

FREE AND PRO

Free needs no card. Pick one subject, work down it a lesson a day, and read anything you have already finished as often as you like.

Pro is £6.99 a month. It removes the daily limit and opens every subject in any order.

PRIVACY

Your answers stay on your device and in your own account. Nothing you write is sold and nothing you write is used to target advertising.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.7.0 — 2026-09-27

Three new WJEC GCSE courses: English Language, History and Computer Science. 345 lessons between them, against every point of all three specifications.

Also in this version: a library-wide pass on answer options, so the right answer is no longer the longest or the shortest one on the board. That tell let a learner score without reading the question, and a test now checks it on every build.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-09-18

No release notes.
