Functionality overall I’d say is a 3 at best. Just kit reliable and clearly put out before it was ready. It's a joke. Rebooting the phone or switching off Bluetooth & turning it back on doesn't help it connect. It happens randomly an is totally unpredictable and unreliable. When it works, it's ok but it takes much longer to pair than a different Bluetooth smart plug I have. All & all this setup is borderline garage. Also - the QA team puts out old and inconsistent versions of their software and firmware, and the products being sold as second generation for a higher price are the same as the first generation on Amazon. Doesn't block the second plug (only in one position, i.e. Can't put two in same outlet, but can plug in a regular plug in the second socket). The software is fairly comprehensive. Program up to 10 events. Timer mode. Security mode. Tracks power usage in hours, days, weeks. Show watts or cost. Firmware in unit can be updated. 4.0 Bluetooth. Plugs sometimes don't show up in App. Maybe the recent firmware update (2.0) fixes that. I haven't had that problem for a few weeks. I have 2 of their 6-plug strips, they work great too. They have a separate App and work with WiFi. ### 3/5 — Hardware works well. App is okay. *2018-07-08, version 2.2* Not terribly powerful. Works ok. Needs sub-minute resolution, i.e. 15s, 30s for schedules. Creating schedules is a bit clunky and could be a lot better. Needs iPhone X support. ### 3/5 — Does not consistently follow schedule *2017-05-07, version 1.7* I would love to give the device and app 5+ stars, however, it is inconsistent with following saved rules/schedule. At least once a week, the device either fails to turn on or off. To correct, I have to turn on or off via the app, then the rules/schedule will be followed for approximately another week before the error cycle repeats. This is likely a simple programming bug which could be easily corrected...
