Compared the rates at Revolut with Google rates and they look pretty much aligned. You can top up v easily. Only passport photo is required to order the card so that was smooth. Reality: it doesn’t work. I contacted support and was flatly told it isn’t supported. So the headline feature they market simply doesn’t exist here. After all the hype and the wait, that’s a serious letdown. **Developer response:** Hi. Every time the link may be invalid, expired, or not working right now, please try again pop-up that comes even after multiple resend options. **Developer response:** Hi there. To securely review your experience with our app and the support received, please email us at help@revolut.com from your registered address so our team can assist you further. ### 1/5 — Nothing new or innovative *2026-06-26* I have used this in UK when it was initially launched but it’s Not of any use In a copy like India which has way better options ### 1/5 — Do not sign up, the entire experience is horrible. *2026-06-25* I signed up for Revolut India account based on my experience being a Revolut Uk customer which was hassle free. But Revolut India is so far disappointing. The “premium” card you pay 2500 for is flimsy and absolutely poor quality. I’m finding it hard to complete card payments online, it keeps failing - I end up having to use another bank’s card to complete a payment. The support team also seems quite useless. Support team is absolutely useless and has downright stupid responses, an ai chatbot would’ve been better. Even on a premium tier, support responses take upwards of 15-20mins for them to start, and follow up responses are each delayed by about 5-10mins. Overall a completely horrible and stressful experience, I would heavily recommend NOT to start an account with them. I will update my review if I find changes, but so far, I wouldn’t trust parking my money with this “bank”. **Developer response:** Hi. We take your feedback seriously. To review your card payment issues and support experience please email us at support-india@revolut.com. ### 1/5 — Disappointing. *2026-06-24* I waited 5-6 years for Revolut to launch in India, when it finally launched, it’s so broken and half-baked that it’s almost hilarious compared to what Revolut offers in EU & UK. You can’t use the digital cards for payments on websites. The disposable cards are limited to INR. The deposit rails for foreign currencies is broken as it doesn’t detect any deposits and just refunds even if you do everything on time and correctly. I got the premium plan and they refused to refund even when I didn’t use any benefits. When I did try to use it, they don’t work. Almost everyday I’m just going through support instead of enjoying a good service like I expect from multi-billion dollar fintech company. The support instead of escalating keeps telling the same macros and hopping me between agents instead of actually helping. **Developer response:** Hi. Please email us at support-india@revolut.com so we can investigate the issues you are facing and review the support interactions. ### 1/5 — Lacklustre verification system and barebones app *2026-06-15* My account verification went through smoothly, but when it came to verify my passport , just because in my passport my surname was expanded instead of single letter , they rejected and there was no way to change the account name itself , and that too the rejection reason wasn’t clear , they just said “image not clear , please send image again” , after multiple tries and eventually contacting support did I learn that it was rejected due to my surname not being exactly the same word for word , I closed my account , the only reason I even signed up was for multiforex capability ### 1/5 — Absolutely terrible experience. *2026-06-13* Absolutely terrible experience. I’ve been trying to verify my identity for over a month, and every document I upload gets rejected within seconds. The copies are clear, high-quality, and fully readable, yet the app keeps rejecting them without any meaningful explanation. I’ve contacted support countless times and all I get is the same copy-paste response telling me to upload the documents again. I’ve done that repeatedly for weeks with zero progress and no real investigation into the issue. What’s even more frustrating is that I’m clearly not the only one facing this problem. A quick look through the reviews shows many users reporting the exact same verification issues. Instead of fixing the problem, Revolut seems content to keep sending automated responses. A financial app should have reliable customer support and a functioning verification process. Revolut failed on both counts.
